This vision has helped WMOI grow from the modest beginning of four employees to six (6) Sales and Design offices, three (3) warehouse support facilities, a manufacturing facility, and 75 employees. We are proud to be a part of Western Michigan, and have now expanded our distribution to all of Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio.
A company dedicated to furnishing office interiors, Tom and Chuck Schaap established our business. During the inception, our company exclusively sold pre-owned office furniture. We initialized a remanufacturing process that made use of Herman Miller and Haworth systems. Recognizing the need to expand, we opened other locations in Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, and Kalamazoo in addition to our company headquarters in Holland.
