We contacted Gemmill's when we had an emergency in the evening. They were able to coordinate fixing the issue with the septic company and early the next day, our issue was fixed. When many didn't even return our calls, Bill Gemmill himself contacted us, discussed the issue, had someone come out within a few short hours, make the repairs and complete the job in a very reasonable amount of time. The gentleman who came out was very courteous, kind, and got right to work so that we could have everything fixed quickly. Thank you so much

We had plumber come to our rental house in York June 2018. He was there 40 minutes the first day. Came back next day bumped around in basement for an hour and said he needed help. We never saw him or heard from Gemmil's again! We had to have another plumber come and do the job asked for. A year and 3 months later I get a bill for $863.83 from Gemill's!. Again no calls, no explanation. They now call October 2020 and ask about payment? They did nothing! Scam outfit beware!!

I called late last night because I lost water, I was told they would call back soon, so they did.They were out FIRST thing in the morning, like they said. They checked the tank in the basement then ending up having to pull my pump to find a broken wire. They fixed it the right way and put it back in the well. It was done quickly and correctly. Thank you!

We had dinner with our friends. This was our first time here. The atmosphere was beautiful and very spacious. The food was delicious. I got the fish & chips ( delicious) it wasn't greasy. We had a few drinks at the bar. The waitress was super friendly and helpful and the bartenders the same. They were having a great time and making jokes with us. I would recommend going it won't disappoint.

We recently had a leak in our main water line coming from our well into the house. The guys came shortly after I called, searched for the location of the leak, and proceeded to solve our problem. It was a messy job, took a couple of days and their clean up was fantastic!! I would suggest they go to the top of the list for great service!!

Gemmill of Stewartstown has a great crew of guys.. prompt and knowledgeable .. We lost our well pump yesterday afternoon and was on the phone with them, guy out quickly to diagnose the situation and two guys here early this morning in this brutal cold to pull up the old pump which rests 250 feet below the surface.. after an hour of battling the… elements these two guys had us up and enjoying the luxury of running water in our home again... Thank you guys for a job well done... go get yourselves thawed out and warmed up... Merry Christmas to the Gemmill crew and Family..

I was billed $72.50 for a job that took 10min tops and had a $.50 O ring replaced to stop a leak. I had called Gemmill's because the leak was in an area where a pipe had been broken in August of 2013 while the borough was replacing my water meter and they had a plumber from Gemmill's come out to fix it. The service manager Keith finally got on the phone after repeated calls to the business where I was being told he would call me when he returned to the shop but I could not get a definitive time. Once I suggested that I felt like I was being blown off, Keith immediately got on the phone
