As far as plumbing service this was about as good as good as it gets. Jose called in advance, came on time, worked quickly, overcame a few unexpected problems, was courteous, cleaned up the entire work area when done and charged a reasonable fee.Nice man, good experience.

I had a problem with my kitchen sink, I called them at 9:30 AM. I was told I would be contacted in a few minutes. No one called, at 11:30 I called them, I was assured that I was on the schedule. I asked them to read back the phone number, at first he balked, then read me off a West Hartford phone number (we live in New Britain). I told him (politely) never mind and called another local plumber who responded immediately.

Sunday I received a call from my renters in New Britain that there was water all over the floor by the Hot Water Heater. I called a few different companies.. After leaving voicemails, Ron from Rukowski called me back within minutes. He confirmed what I have thought and offered to go out on a Sunday to fix it. My renters were ok and I stated we… can hold off until Monday morning. Ron gave me an estimate and met my husband first thing Monday morning at 9am. He and his coworker showed up on time, quickly and cleanly got the job done. We also had him fix a few leaky knobs. We were over all impressed

I took a cold shower at 815am, and called Rutkowski at 830 about my leaking hot water heater. They were in my house by 9, and I was on my way to work by 930. When I got home at 2, the hot water heater was installed, the basement area around the repair was cleaner than I'd left it, and everything was back to normal. The price was great. Highly recommended - I expected the experience to be expensive and time consuming, and the reality could not have been more different.

Rutkowski Plumbing has been our go-to plumber for a number of years now. We have always found them to do high quality work in a prompt, courteous manner, at a reasonable price. Today, we called them to fix our toilet, that we have been having to flush manually because the chain broke. If they told me I needed a new handle, I would have not known better. The plumber fixed only what needed replacing (the chain), and did the service free of charge. Their honesty and generosity has created even more goodwill from us toward this company, and we would not hesitate to recommend them! As a matter of fact

Don't waste your time calling this company! Called on a Friday and scheduled an appointment for the following Wednesday. Took the day off from work only to have no one call or show up for the appointment. Called in the afternoon to ask if someone was coming and the office seemed to not even know about the appointment and said 'someone will call… you' - waited the rest of the day and no call then or since. Maybe if I had a man call I would have been treated with more respect. Thankful my plumbing problem was not urgent and that there are other local companies who know how to treat customers

A week ago, I had a hot water heater installed. That went fine even if they were brusque when talking to me. They told me the toilet in front of it needed replacing because parts of it were corroded. They also told me that day it would need a new shut off valve. I was told that day I would only be paying for the parts since the install was already… paid for at the time of the water heater. They came back todat, installed the new toilet and handed me a bill for over $300 and told me that was because I was getting a new toilet. This is NOT what I was told last week. I will not use them again

Hands down the worst experience with plumbing I have ever experienced. Unprofessional, rude. Downstairs shower was “fixed” and now has a constant leak and only goes from ice cold to 137 degrees. Do not use this company. Not to mention when I had another company come out and look at it they told me that essentially it was done wrong and literally could have hurt my kids because the water was so hot. I’m so disgusted a company could knowingly do such a bad job and do nothing about it.
