Simply amazing! I am happy to share my excitement: We did an addition to the house with Modern General Contractor. Alex was referred to us by a friend who was very happy with the speed and quality of their remodeling project. Our project was not an easy one. Alex's team gutted the whole second floor and completely remodeled the bathrooms, replaced the subfloors, added insulation, put the cork and hardwood floors. They also drywalled the garage and installed an EV charger. Alex is an honest and straight forward contractor who knows how to do things right. He never cuts corners and always explains everything that he is doing. Our remodeling project took a bit longer that we had planned due to the pandemics related

I hired ModernGeneralContractor for a lighting improvement project in our house. They suggested that we make the walls smooth instead of textured while patching the openings after the wiring. It wasn’t cheap, but we were convinced after seeing how Alex was determined to propose the best options for our budget and was honest about where the crew would save costs on the project without defeating the purpose. We are glad we did it because our home looks modern and cozy now.

Alex removed my old sidewalk with a giant asphalt patch and replaced it with a beautiful new sidewalk. The concrete looks great. The work was done efficiently and on time. Alex was very responsive with all of the information necessary and he did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

Alex did a fantastic job breaking up and leveling out a concrete slab and installing artificial grass in my back yard. It was a simple job that became very complicated due to live electrical wires that were discovered under the concrete. Alex was able to make the wires safe by doing work at the circuit so the job could continue without delay and followed up after I had an electrician re-wire. I highly recommend Modern General Contractor! They were fast, friendly and efficient at a very reasonable price.
