Mindy Suhoza, owner, opened the store after 36 years of experience in the shopping center industry! The Buttonhole is a consignment boutique that carries women's fashions & accessories as well as home decor items and small pieces of furniture. Fashion and home decorating become affordable at the Buttonhole with our vast selection of one of a kind items.
In order to get a better return for your items, inspect each piece of clothing and make sure they are free of pet hair, perfume, and smoke odors. The Buttonhole accepts small pieces of furniture. Email a picture of the furniture to Mindy@thebuttonholeconsignment.com for approval before bringing. The Buttonhole does not accept sets of dishes, and glassware, collector plates or small garage sale type items.

The clothes and prices are alright, but the price tags were VERY confusing and all of the items my Nana and I purchased ended up costing more than we thought. The owner noticed our confusion in the price, but took all the tags away and said what each item actually costed. I wasn't in the mood to put the items back or argue, so I told her the tags were misleading and paid the extra 15$

This is one of, if not the best consignment shop that I've been in. They carry just about everything a woman could want. From clothes in every size to jewelry and in-between. Everything is nicely displayed and the clothes are up to date and reasonably priced. If you're looking for something unique, I'd pay a visit to the Buttonhole on Curry Hollow Road. You won't leave empty-handed.

I went in today for the first time to start consigning with the buttonhole. I had no expectations for my experience upon arriving. When I got there, my experience was very pleasant. I noted right away how good it smelled in the shop, but also not too fragrant. Mindy was highly personable, which encouraged me to feel very comfortable. Her selection of clothing is great - from formal and work wear to workout gear, she has it covered! Bottomhole is a great local business for Pittsburgh - check it out!
