Established in 2014 and based in Dallas, Boston Mills is a premium American furniture brand that specializes in crafting products entirely from rosewood. The company's ideology is straightforward but apt: making furniture, one piece at a time. The vision statement speaks to the dedication and care that goes into crafting each piece.
We can customize almost any type of furniture since we build each piece by hand. Whether it is a minor modification to one of our standard designs or an entirely custom project, we will give you what you want. As we make most of our furniture from scratch, the lead time for a custom order is similar to the lead time for a standard piece, approximately 22-24 weeks from the time of order to arrival in our Dallas showroom.
While machines might be faster, they do not understand quality and passion. Two things that our master craftsmen understand and instill into every piece they create. We are committed to old-world furniture manufacturing methods, such as handcrafting and hand-finishing. We don't compromise on delivering perfection, so all our tasks are performed by hand even if it requires as much as 700 working hours.
Large dining tables fall in our area of specialization, and so do desks that are made up of solid rosewood. The tops of this furniture have single joints only. This technique is considered our craftsmen's mastery and has existed for centuries. It is rarely used by low-grade manufacturers since there's a high cost associated with this technique.

The folks at Boston Mills were consistently helpful and kind; they held this oh so handsome credenza for me as the closing kept being delayed. The large piece was shipped white-glove from Dallas carefully wrapped and expertly placed in my home. It is a treasure, truly eye-catching finish. Thank you again! Shipping took considerably longer than stated, not that it was terribly problematic but some communication regarding a more accurate timeline would have been helpful.
