What is Kasita? Kasita is a smart, modern, micro home designed to fit in the heart of the city, open lots, or right in your backyard. Our spaces can be used in many ways, from backyard apartments to workforce housing to rural retreats. What makes a Kasita different than a traditional building? When a Kasita is built, the same materials and methods are used as in a traditional site-built house.
An Accessory Dwelling Unit is an additional residential dwelling on the same parcel as a single-family dwelling which provides complete independent living facilities for one or more persons. This additional housing includes permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking, and sanitation, built either within or adjacent to the main house.

We had a fantastic experience with Corbin Jones of OVID Design + Development, who completed a feasibility study for us to kick off a long-postponed remodel of our quirky home. Through his well-organized and clearly communicated process, we came to see possibilities for our home that we could not have imagined without his guidance.
