It is exciting for both our team and of course our clients to mark out on the earth the site of a new home. We will have been with them during the design process and have spoken to the architect many times so we will be comfortable with what we are about to do. For many clients this stage is a little daunting as it's hard to see without experience just where the house is going to be in relation to other things on the property.
Castelo Construction provide a full building refurbishment service to all types of buildings and structures - especially stone buildings. Whether you simply require an estimate for general building repairs or a complete renovation and refurbishment of an existing property, we are happy to provide a tailored work programme to meet your requirements and budget.
If you need an extra bedroom bathroom or just want to rearrange the living space in your home we can help. Turn veranda roofs into terraces so that your guests can enjoy the view from their rooms, create an outside dining room with a kitchen and barbeque area. All the work we undertake is fully discussed and agreed before we start.
Let's start at the very beginning. Do you want a pool that you can swim in or one just to cool off and splash around in. If it's the latter then a flat bottomed pool will be adequate you could buy a pool which sits on the garden surface and has a step ladder to climb into. What sort of pool. What shape, will it fit, do we need permission, what sort of water treatment should we have, is there an eco friendly swimming pool available.
If you have a good sized attic space in your property in central Portugal there is a very good chance it would make fine additional accommodation such as another ensuite bedroom or two, or an office or even self contained rental unit. Castelo Construction received an email enquiry from a lady in Australia who had purchased a property near Tomar and wanted to convert the attic space into two en-suite double bedrooms.
