Most kitchen & bath companies in the area are not certified by the State of Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC with a Contractors License. Although, they list themselves as licensed and insured, an occupational license does not allow them to Contract as a Contractor. They can recommend licensed subcontractors for you to work with (making you the contractor), but they cannot act as a General Contractor like Kitchen & Bath on the Isle does.

DMV Kitchen and Bath finished our basement. Far exceeded our expectations. Over two years after they did the work I called them asking a question about how to pull one of the cabinets out to install an ice maker. They sent an employee to do it for me an hour later the same day ON A SATURDAY! Highly recommend!!

I want to thank the team at DMV Kitchen and Bath for the outstanding job that they did at my parent’s house. I picked them up from the airport yesterday to see the kitchen and they were so happy with the outcome. What could have been a very difficult experience for them because of the house being in the historic district and so old, turned out better than we could have hoped. Wow, you guys did such a great job! We are now able to ask $1000 a month for our "rental property" (aka our basement). You did such a great job on the kitchen and the bathroom. I knew that it was the right idea going with you from day one. Great customer service inlcuding a quick response time. I thought the process of finding a good company would take a long time but luckily for us it didn't. We have our first possible tenant coming today to check out the space! Our Kitchen remodel just completed in Sept 2017 and it is absolutely wonderful. From design to construction to cleanup everything was great! GBC did our basement bathroom a few years back so when we decided to remodel the kitchen, there was no research necessary as we knew we would just call the team at DMV Kitchen & Bath. Again the experience was flawless and we are really enjoying our new and now functional kitchen!!

DMV Kitchen & Bath did an excellent job for our full kitchen remodel project. DMV worked with us closely to maximize cabinet space and options, as well as to determine ideal light options and electrical outlet locations. Given every option had an expense to it, we were able to develop a plan that gave us our desired features while remaining within budget. DMV's Project Manager, Cemmy, was great to work with. He provided excellent advice and remained our focal point throughout the entire project. He also remained open to any backsplash, countertop, and appliance options we preferred
