Services
HelmCo is owned and operated by Bradley and Dayna Helm. Bradley is a third generation builder and has learned the trade since a very young age. He has worked for his two older brothers, who run their own construction companies, and learned a great deal of carpentry. After working for 8 years learning just about every aspect of carpentry, Bradley opened his business.
This fence is just your basic clean looking fence. We use tight knot cedar boards with cedar pipe on post and cedar 2x4 for the cross section. The modified modern fence is similar to the modern fence but has a cedar top cap along the top of the fence and where the fence boards meet is seen. We can also upgrade to clear cedar for a clean looking fence for an additional cost.
We use all cedar products for all our fences. It is the best material available for fences and will outlast any pressure treated wood. It also will deform the least for the life of the fence. Treated wood comes very wet and when it dries, it can deform significantly, causing your fence to deform. We can upgrade the fence boards to be clear cedar which are free of knots for a premium wood and a cleaner look.

We had HelmCo Fences build two gates/short fences on the sides of our house. They came quickly to do an estimate, offered a far better price than the other company we got a quote from for the same product and quality, and did a great job on the build. On the day of the build they walked through the details with us to be sure we were all in agreement about what would be done, and it turned out exactly as we had hoped. They only issue was that they were backed up with work so it took a while to get them here to do the job, but that was the case with all the places we talked to, so I don't blame them

Bradley and his team did an amazing job! We’ve been needing to replace the old fence for years. HelmCo was easy to work with, had a clear payment process, and was very responsive. We were able to keep a section of the old fence with a 10+ year old wisteria and they did a great job of building the new fence to match it. We even noticed a small crack in a board after completion and they came back to replace it. Very professional and feel very satisfied with our new fence.

HelmCo did a great job with our fence. They were responsive, prompt, had fair prices (we had a few quotes done from multiple reputable companies) and their guys (Anthony and Zach) did amazing work. The attention to detail was fantastic, they showed up on time every day, were respectful of our many plants and trees that were in their way, and overall were just a pleasure to have around.

Though we could have done the work ourselves as typically we do, decided it was time to support small businesses and spare our bodies. Best decision ever! Bradley came out and explained the process. We needed as stable a fence as possible due to the winds we get off the sound. They use metal rods in the posts which makes them more stable and resistant to the winds we get. After we received their bid they let us know they would contact us approximately two weeks prior to build. We put down our deposit and looked forward to their call. Cannot recommend them. See pictures for yourself. They "re-did" the top line of the fence only after I complained loudly that what they did was not up to what I ordered. My neighbors got a fabulous fence from them, but can't understand how the same company could do such a poor job on ours. They're taking the Helmco tag off their fence now and will not recommend yhem either. There's a gap in the fence that allows the neighbor's dog get out of their yard. $6340 work that I could've done myself. I thought I had hired professionals.

Bradley and his team are top notch. We called around and received several quotes to replace our existing fence. It was going to be a big job and this is our forever home. We moved into a new home and needed to get up some fencing quickly to contain our small dog. The new fence needed to tie into an existing shared fence with the neighbor, and connect alongside the home, up a fairly steep embankment. Bradley set up a time to meet for an estimate and was on time and thorough. We followed up and got on the schedule, within a week he was at our place and the fence was up in 2 days. Brad and his team helped us extend and reface an existing wood fence along the front of our property. Brad came by himself for the quote and was very thorough and on time. He was careful to include some little custom touches we wanted to help tie-in our existing fence and also add detail to our front gate.
