Designed by Dave (DXD) Furniture is a custom woodworking business owned by Dave Carrier. He builds each piece with the client in mind, in a workshop that sits on a cornfield in Indiana. He isn't interested in building a large company. He is focused on doing flawless work for each and every client and with each and every order.
Your journey with DXD Furniture begins with an in-home design consultation. Dave will get to know what is important to you. He will explain the whole process and show you samples and additional pictures from his portfolio. At your home, he will look at the space, the furniture you have in mind and discuss the details.
We will work with you to design whatever you have in mind. We work with whatever wood interests you, oak, maple, cherry, birch, pine or if you'd prefer an exotic wood that is also possible! Includes built-ins, bookcases, entertainment centers, vanities, kitchen islands and curio cabinets. Includes dining room tables and chairs, hutches, pie safes, hope chest, toy chests, beds, wardrobe and desks.
When we had our first grandchild I went overboard with the toys and needed a toy chest that would be aesthetically appealing with my existing furniture in my living room. Dave did a beautiful job of making that dream a reality by designing and making a unique toy chest. It is nice to know there are still true craftsman who care about their craft and tend to the small details.
