I specifically asked this company if they would repair a portion of my PINE fence, and it was no issue over the phone, but when they came out they said they only do cedar. If you are a fence REPAIR company, you should really be willing to use the same material that they already have. And more importantly, make sure your entire staff is on the same page so you don’t waste people’s time.

Very disappointed!! Not a fence makeover. If all you want is to paint your fence AS-IS, they may do a decent job. If you need any type of repair or very simple fixes or prep, you better make sure everything is on the quote. Even something as simple as hammering in loose nails. Believe it or not, you have to actually ask for that and will be charged for it. They even just painted over some leaves piled at the base of the fence that would have taken a minute to clear away. After a fallen tree destroyed our fence we contacted Fence Makeovers. From their first visit to finish, the Makeover team worked hard and non stop in nearly 100 degree temps to repair the damages and make the rest of our fence look like new. We just had our fence completely refreshed and repainted by Fence Makeovers. We picked the Harbor Grey which was a small up charge. Colton came on time...gave a detailed quote. Ruth was very nice on the phone and the work took two days....granted one side of our fence is longer than most peoples whole back yard. It came out beautiful and will add value and life to our old fence. 3 different crews One to bleach, One to repair and One to paint all were professional. We are very happy with our final product. This company provided suggestions on repairing the fence at a fair price. They kept in contact on scheduling when the weather didn't cooperate. They took the effort to screw in the replacement boards and not just nail them in like most companies. I highly recommend Fence Makeovers! Robert is so easy to work with and Ruth is prompt with answering their phones and providing help.

I've never written a negative comment on here, but I feel I must now. The Fence Makeover estimator came out and was a joy to speak with. I told him my budget and he intimated he could work within those figures. While he did say he needed to run the numbers, he said he'd worked with the owner for 14 years and expected it to work out.
Four days later I received a quote for 3x the number we discussed. Clearly, his estimating skills aren't up to his salesmanship skills, as I really liked him and was ready to move forward.
I won't be giving them our business and warn others not

Had a great experience with this company. The estimate process was easy, with the owner of the company on hand. He knew exactly what I needed, made some good recommendations, and gave me a reasonable quote. The work was performed exactly as agreed, with the crew wrapping up quickly and efficiently.
Update 1/10/19: Used Fence Makeovers a second time. Great results again. Came out Wednesday to give me an estimate and then completed the job on Thursday. Reasonable cost and prompt service.

Double check that the estimate they write up for you is actually what you asked for bc they didn't include one part asked for in their quote. Also, they started tearing down my neighbors gate bc my address was written down wrong by the guy who did my quote. Luckily, I was home to stop them bc they don't let you know when they arrive.

I needed my 5 year old fence stained. From the first phone call, they were professional and courteous. They came the first day when scheduled to spray the bleach and returned to stain. The stain was flawless and they left no mess. I thought the price was very reasonable and they fixed my gate! The handwritten thank you note from the owner topped it off. Great experience! I highly recommend.

This was the second time we had our fence stained by Fence Makeovers. Honestly, I'm surprised at the negative testimony stating that Fence Makeovers was unprofessional and sloppy. This is a family owned business and it sounds like they made many mistakes. Maybe they've learned from past mistakes along the way.
They were upfront and honest about our fence. They explained that certain areas wouldn't stain evenly, like water stains from the sprinkler, hail damage and new wood for the retaining wall. The end result was beautiful considering all the obstacles. Fence Makeovers definitely

The service was fast but sloppy job.. had to have the come back to touch up. The worst is the sales guy John said my flowers and plants sling fence would be protected! wrong! The flowers n planets are either dead or brown and wilted.. the owned reimbursements me 1/2 of what I spent on flowers and nothing on plants - as he said they will come back eventually.. do either I replace what was once green and beautiful or live with brown.. seriously! Don't waste your time with this company.,

Please read the other reviews before using this company! They promise a one day turnaround time. I had an appointment scheduled for last Thursday that was pushed to Friday, then Monday and then today. It's after 6 p.m. and no one has showed up. How they are supposed to complete the job with diminished light is beyond me. When I called and asked if I should hire another company she told me I "could do what I want." I do understand that the weather is out of their control but Monday and Tuesday has been sunny and calm. I think they say it's the weather because they overbook.

In the middle of the process still and really frustrated. We had them on the calendar for awhile because they were booked up, and when the day arrived, I learned they did not plan for the correct stain. The price then went up another $100. As a result of their failure to plan for the stain, they could not complete the job in one day as promised.
Today they were to repair the fence and wash it, then stain and seal it. After they left, I saw nails sticking out. Really?
They are due back tomorrow. Praying they get their act together.

PLEASE read the negative reviews, they are very specific and accurate, many of the positive ones appear to be friends and family.
Had numerous issues including asking them to leave my property after catching the owner in a lie standing in front of me. He wouldn't even acknowledge he was the owner when asked. I was charged EXTRA for removing old poles and 30 days later found them in the ground working on the sprinkler along with over 30 bolts, screws and other junk they decided to bury on my property

The sales process for was great and Colton was easy to get ahold of. The scheduling of the work was less than desirable and the install team was careless and didn't complete everything without me making multiple phone calls.
At one point a different contractor working on my house told the fence makeover team that they had stain running down my roof and out the gutters. The team left without cleaning the stain dripping from the gutters or splashed all over the shingles.
I would not recommend this place to anyone,

LOOKS LIKE A NEW FENCE!
Hard working Pros: Darren gave bid and wrote contract, Philippe and Juan cleaned and painted fence. Additionally, they built 16' of 8' tall new cedar fence with steel posts and pressure treated toe board to protect from weed wacker and replaced a dozen split pickets. I was able to use latex/acrylic Behr fence solid stain in my color choice which is warranted by Behr for over 10 years on verticle surfaces.
My advice to homeowners: stay on sight. Offer ice water and BE NICE but persistent about exactly what was contracted. I highly recommend FENCE MAKOVERS without
