Established in 1990, the company was founded by Tom Johnson in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin. The company grew from handy-man services to custom carpentry, large additions, and historical renovation projects. Working with many different types and sizes of projects results in a robust remodeling company.
VisionWe feel that we are making a positive improvement in people's lives by improving their homes. We are told over-and-over that our customers love their new spaces and find it hard to remember functioning before the remodeling project. MethodologyDuring our initial meeting with the customer, we listen to their needs to determine the best approach necessary to meet their needs while respecting budget and timeline.
Customer contacts Home Works Remodeling to discuss general aspects of the project. Team member(s) meets with customer on site to gather details and measurements. A free proposal and/or spec sheet is put together and sent to customer for review (via email, faxed, mail, hand delivery, or sit-down meeting).

They did an extensive remodeling project for us in 2016 and the work was excellent. We were very pleased with the craftsmanship and timeliness overall. When we had a quality issue with the cabinets, Tom carefully inspected every piece and did a great job making sure they right. The next project we have, Home Works will be doing it.
