It was our first time getting a new roof done and we were unaware of how to properly deal with our insurance. Our first claim which we filed ourselves got denied. We've been paying our insurance for years so we had no idea why it wouldn't get approved. What's the point of having insurance when they do nothing for you?

We wanted to make some updates after moving into our new home but our insurance was giving us a problem. They were not willing to cover much of the work at all. Their response was that it wasn't necessary and that the roof was fine. Windy City really helped out with this part.

We worked with WCCG to re-roof our entire office building in Naperville. We were long overdue for this. They did a very good job and worked with us on pricing. Our new roof looks great and they were very respectful to the surroundings of the building. Plants and trees were protected while shingles and pieces of wood were brought down. They estimated the construction would take 4 days but they got it done in 3. Great commercial roofer, they get our full recommendation.

Windy City was working on our neighbors house, so I walked over and said hello. They offered a free inspection of my roof the following day, which I agreed on. The day of I was waiting for a catch, a hard sell or some sneaky trick but never got one. Working with them we were able to get the roof completely re-done and it didn't cost nearly as much as we thought it would. Great guys, they started the job early and kept going until it was done. Super hard working staff, people in this line of work I have a lot of respect for. Especially when they do it right. Our new roof is immaculate!

They did a great job on our roof. We were worried in the beginning about the final total but they continued to reassure us. I’ve never worked with a roofing business prior, so this was all new to me. Getting insurance to cover things is a tricky process that I know all too well. Windy City relentlessly worked until our insurance agreed to cover the whole thing!!! Leaving only a small fee for a very big job that they did. Everyone we dealt with here treated us so well and made sure we were happy with the project the whole time.

Our goal was to find the most skilled roofing company that we could to restore our roof. We also were looking for a business that could do it quickly. Last time we had roof work done it was almost a decade ago but I still remember how long it took. The roofers back then walked on our roof for what seemed like a whole week. Speed was a big concern of ours.

Top notch experience working with Windy City Construction Group for our roof replacement. We were in dire need of getting a new roof but going back and forth with our insurance became such a headache that we started procrastinating on the project. Getting a new roof can be very expensive. I know this because I did it before with my old house. This time around I explored my options and saved money with this business. During our new roof install, after our claim had been approved, their team was very detailed with their work. Mac was the one who we spoke with the most. Definitely not your average roofing business, which is why we chose them. Their whole approach was great. We were unaware that our insurance would cover so much. To be honest I don't think insurance companies want you to know how much they can really cover. Working with Windy City really maximized our coverage. We were under the impression a new roof was going to be the price of a used car. The final price ended up being more like a new mountain bike! Incredible work. We're super happy with the outcome.

Had large hail in Evanston they did a full detail property inspection including drone inspection which was really in depth. We discovered broken skylights they tarped my roof the same day they contacted my insurance company and filed my claim on my behalf. They are scheduling inspection date with my insurance company. As an anniversary gift to my parents I had their roof and siding fixed to the house I grew up in. I know it seems like a weird gift but they have been talking about getting it done for years and never got around to it. They went out and got a hotel on a Friday afternoon, stayed and came back home Sunday. Brand new roof on our in Plainfield done by these guys. There were able to finish the job in one day which was awesome. With no interest financing options, getting it done wasn’t stressful at all. Great company, very competitive on the roofing quote. Love that the inspection part is free. 2 other companies I called tried to charge me just to come out, it just didn’t feel right. Windy City was easy to do business with. No pressure to sign with them either. They always took my calls when reached out to get more questions answered and always… followed up with my emails when I first reached out. I was quoted for a 2 day job for entire roof replacement, and they were able to get it done in one day and the quote was adjusted. Happy customer over here!

Our new roof was installed in February 2020. We received our initial estimate from Mac. He was very thorough and informed us well on the entire process of both the roof and insurance claim. It felt great when all the work was approved. This is something we’ve been meaning to do for awhile but it’s been postponed because our insurance kept giving… us the run around. Having WC represent us in the claim process really changed the entire situation. The new roof took 2 days to complete. Great group of roofers and a great referral from a good friend. Mac and the crew were easy to work with and gave us the type of upgrades to our home that we were looking for. New roof with clean asphalt shingles and some super durable hardie board siding. The guys told us when they were arriving and never had me waiting around in some large time window. They came when they said would. Worked fast and cleaned the front yard when they were done like no work ever took place.
