Outstanding business with excellent workmanship. After receiving our quote Rob, he and his crew had an opening. They immediately got to work and even though they had to replace several sheetings, they finished our roof with in 4 days of starting. His crew was always polite and well mannered. We had a great experience using Rob The Roofer. Originally we planned to have our 40 year old house reroofed, meaning new paper and shingles and maybe replace some plywood. Well, after the demo, we discovered that the roof had been poorly made originally. I wasn't surprised, as we've had a lot of issues with this house in the past 6 years that we've owned it. We needed to remove all plywood and replace the insulation, as the insulation used originally was incorrect and preventing our roof from venting. Rob was great to work with and gave us a very fair price for the additional work

Rob and Mike did a FANTASTIC job installing a new roof on my house!!!! I can't say enough about the crew. Very informative about what they were doing, courteous, cleaned up everyday, replaced rotted fascia board and primed it, all new venting and completed job in time frame i was told.
I HIGHLY Recommend them for any roofing repairs or a new roof, A+.

We needed to replace our cedar shake roof. We did not know if we wanted cedar, shingle or metal as a replacement.
Our set up is a log house of 2800 sq ft and a carport of 900 sq ft. for a total of 3700 sq ft.......an expensive proposition.
Our experience with contractors on other projects on Whidbey had been shaky, so we did our homework on the three kinds of roof available.
We asked for bids from four contractors with informative websites and excellent Google/Yelp reviews and appeared to be competent with all three materials.
Mt Vernon came in with detailed, excellent quotes. But in comparison

His estimate was almost perfect, the final bill was less than $100 over estimate.
His crew was professional, didn't leave a mess for us to clean up and didn't cause any issues for us.
Our roof was on the small size so it was a fairly quick job. I believe it was 3 days and done!
I highly recommend calling Rob The Roofer if you need work done on your roof.
