The owner, Ernie Capretti, was introduced to the plumbing trade as a young boy by his father who has been a plumber for over 40 years. By the age of 14, Ernie was accompanying his dad on plumbing jobs and that is when he began learning the basic skills of the trade.

Some of the more challenging projects that we experience with are the various commercial and recreational facilities, specifically water parks that we have worked on in the Northeastern United States. These projects include expansion to Six Flags of Ohio and Red Oaks Water Park in Michigan, to a brand new theme park called Roseland Water Park in Canadaigua, New York.
After having several plumbers at my home to find out where a water leak was coming from, Professor Plumb found the culprit. It was a slab leak and the water luckily was going outside of my home. I called to schedule help with a bathtub/toilet drainage issue. They said they could have someone at my house Monday at 9. I called the office at 9:30 when no one had arrived and I had received no call. There was no discussion of an arrival window. It was 9 a.m. Britney the schedule checked GPS and said she didn't know why he was so late but that he should be there shortly. He arrived at noon. He got started. I found Professor Plumb on Thumbtack and contacted them to come to my house to give me an estimate on replacing the remaining of the original plumbing in the house and replacing my bathtub. I agreed to the $150 estimate with the condition that if I hired them the estimate fee would be deducted from the estimate. They came by on a Wednesday and said they would have the estimate the next day, if not, call on Friday to remind them. I did not receive the estimate by Friday and I called and left a voice mail. I called again on the following Wednesday and spoke to a lady and she apologized and said they

I have to have a toilet leak fixed for insurance purposes. Since the insurance agent is coming tomorrow I was told they would be here between 12-2pm. I had to leave at 3. When I called I was told he was at another call and the secretary would call me back. No call. Called them back and was told they had no idea when he would arrive. I cancelled the call and hopefully have another company coming out later this afternoon. I had to impose on my son and DIL to come over if they don't show up. I will not use Professor Plumb again nor can I recommend them,

I was told my plumber would show up between a window of 12 noon and 2 pm. He showed up at 2:10pm and didn't call to tell me he was running late. I thought that was very unprofessional. After he checked out the problem he told me he had to go get different supplies, it is now 3:15 and I'm waiting for him to come back to finish the job. Highly disappointed as this is ruining my whole afternoon and the plans i had to accomplish today.
