Mike Ferraro was the recipient of the 2006 Distinquished Builder Award by the Home Builders Association. Mike is the Past President of the Home Builders Association and was Chairman of the Business Growth and Development and Green Built Committees.

When searching for a competent and professional design/build remodeler, we were looking for that company that had a stellar reputation as well as someone with whom we could relate. For us, The Ferraro Group and Mike Ferraro was that company. Mike and his team listened to what we wanted to do with our home and has helped to guide us through the process. Understanding the local permitting, including county and township regulations and the circumstances involved with that, has allowed Mike's local knowledge and experience to be invaluable. The Ferraro Group did a complete renovation of our home. Mike and his team were easy to work with and patient with our changes and delays in making decisions. Our Project Manager John Burns was always available on weekends when we needed to meet. John was attentive to details and knew what we liked to help us make decisions. Updates and pictures were posted online frequently so we could see all the changes. We are very happy with the quality and details of the work performed by the Ferraro team and their trades.

We hired the Ferraro Group first to renovate a house and then for a new construction project. Mike and his team were - simply put - excellent. Incredibly thorough, very responsive and always focused on providing best in class service. The Ferraro Group always delivered. Everyone we dealt with treated our job like it was their own house. We would without hesitation recommend Mike and his team for any project. Our project had many custom features and the Ferraro Group was instrumental in completing everything on time and within budget. We had a fantastic experience across the board - amazing group of people.

I liked Mike Ferraro from almost the moment I met him. It was quickly apparent that he knew his business very well. He brought his interior design person to the first meeting and together we discussed the possibilities and options for renovating a 30+ year old condo. We spent time agreeing on a general outline for a plan and Mike then sent me an estimate in which we agreed to the scope of the project. I had additional meetings with the interior designer Gretchen and once the project started the crew worked diligently and regularly toward completion.
I was amazed that the group actually did everything they said they were going to do when they said they would do it. Larry Kinney, project foreman, sent me pictures and summaries of the work being done as it occurred. Larry is an amazing person with a real eye for the little things and attention to detail. He spent a great deal of time just thinking about how he might perform the work and make it special.
All of the crew, from carpenters, plumbers, electricians, various installation people, painters, etc... were top notch and professional.
I'll also put in a word for Joan, who works in the office and sent us a monthly invoice. Joan is very kind, professional, and displays the same level of accuracy and caring as the people in the field.
The cost of the project was higher than I started out planning for, but none of that was a surprise. Mike and I discussed options, and often we chose to select an upgrade or something extra but that was our decision without any pressure from Mike. Mike and Larry have a way of always telling you "yes we can" rather than "sorry" and I must say their attitudes were always the very best. I can't say enough good about what a pleasant experience we had working with the entire group.
We ended up with a totally renovated condo in a prime location that is simply beautiful. We will always be grateful to the entire Ferraro group and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thanks to the entire group!
