Services
At Quest Flooring we want to make your purchase and installation of your new floor as simple as possible. We will come out and give you a FREE and thorough inspection of the work needed to be done, and will leave you with an honest quote based on your specifications. In most cases we will bring samples to you, and if necessary, depending on your particular floor, we will ship samples to you at no charge.
Over the past 19 years, I have worked with many name brand products, from the cheapist to the most expensive. Based on this experience, I personally recommend the following products for their superior finishes, durability, milling, and solid warranties. Lw Mountain has a wide selection of pre-finished engineered and solid hardwoods.
The board in the center is defective and needs to be replaced. First you must set the depth of your saw to the thickness of your flooring. Cut the length of the board 2 or 3 times being careful not to damage the surrounding floor. Keep a vaccum on hand for easy clean up. Next remove the sawed strips of wood with a sharp chisel, you can split the strips with a hammer.
When choosing a cleaner there are several products on the market to choose from. There are two product I use which clean with ease and help keep your floor looking it's best. The first product is Bona X, this flooring kit is an excellent way to keep your new floor looking beautiful. The flooring cleaner is a waterborne non-toxic, ph neutral cleaner, specially designed for all polyurethane finished wood floors.

Jim and Tyler were excellent! Jim communicated throughout our little project. He provided a quote quickly and he followed up! It's surprising how few people follow up after quoting a job. His estimate was in line with others, but his experience and communication shone through. I'm quite happy with my end product and will certainly use them again!

Quest installed my laminate floor, and it looks great! Jim is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. The time and care he took to make it look as good as it does was really impressive. I also appreciate the level of communication. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, and gave updates at the end of each day. He's great to work with, and has a good sense of humor. I would recommend Quest, and would absolutely them again.

I highly recommend him. They installed beautiful wood floors throughout our first floor and we were so happy with the work we hired him again for two other jobs. All work was done with a high level of professionalism.

Not somebody I am interested in doing business with. He makes the process very difficult - can't make a decision on anything, and does not even offer a warranty on his work unless you ask him for it and then is reluctant to do so. He also lied to me about statements he made and promises that he did not keep. Find someone else.

I would give Jim and his son Tyler 10 stars if I could! Jim is a perfectionist. He matched the floors and stairs to an existing hardwood floor perfectly. He was timely with communication, very fairly priced, clean while working and an all around great guy! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend them any higher. Trust me, you will NOT find better workmanship anywhere!

We were very pleased with the hardwood floors that Jim & his son installed in our living room & dining room. Jim did an excellent job on all aspects of installing the floors. He is fair at pricing and very hard working. The floors look beautiful and we would highly recommend Jim & his son, they do great work and they work well together.

After seeing the marvelous job he did at on my friends floor I knew I needed to hire him for mine. Was not disappointed! He was clean, friendly, meticulous, pricing was extremely reasonable. Went above and beyond to make sure things were done correctly and I cannot stress how clean he was able to keep the space. So trustworthy that I had no problem running errands while he was working. Couldn't recommend more.

Jim was amazing. We just moved into a house where the previous owner had a dog and plants. The dog was not potty trained and worst of all neither were the plants. The carpeting had to go. Jim saw the flooring underneath had rotted due to over watering of the previous owners plants and fixed it all.
He is meticulous. We bought close to 30 boxes and he inspected each board for defects. It turns out four boxes had defects. We were able to exchange them and finish the job. If you want perfection, call this guy.

James installed a beautiful hardwood floor on the entire second level of my row home and it looks great. He sold me on a great looking Golden Oak that really makes my rooms stand out!
