Services
Our company has been family owned and operated since 1947 - three generations, but our family heritage in the area dates to Colonial times. Our new homes have old-fashioned craftsmanship and care mixed with modern luxuries and designs individually crafted for each homeowner. Both a land developer and a new home builder, we take pride in creating communities and homes in locations that we would love to live in ourselves (and actually do!).
This American Heritage Homes Signature Design blends the traditional colonial layout with an expansive open floor plan. As you step into the Keswick's two-story, grand, open foyer, you are greeted by the traditional front staircase and flanked by the formal dining and living room/flex spaces. The options for use of these generously sized rooms are endless.

Enjoy our new AHH home and peaceful setting in The Estates of Chancellorsville - Sales staff very friendly, competent, and knowledgable - New CEO (Mr. Riggins - no relation to football great John Riggins) and AHH handyman (Mr. Fowler) have touched base on numerous occasions to address any of our concerns and to ensure our satisfaction with the building process and home.

Have had the same issues as William...and more! I’ve built 2 homes in the past-This is the first home I’ve built with American Heritage. I’ve never had the amount of issues I’ve had with these builders. Never came back to completely fix items on punch list, told good help is hard to find and we “paid for the land and community” and have had severe issues within a year and just after the year warranty. In any situation, I’ve had to constantly contact regarding fixes, wouldn’t show up, and had to fight to get items fixed. Poor workmanship and don’t want to be accountable. The major

Months spent working on a contract, traveling back and forth from North Carolina to Virginia. After we had signed the contract and could finally relax, American Heritage Homes emailed us asking for $40,000 more dollars in order for them to ratify the already signed contract. So much time wasted with this company. Please tread carefully working with them. Their prices mean nothing, even base pricing. Their base house is not a house anyone would want, coming standard with the cheapest of materials (flooring, cabinets, trim, appliances... etc.) Therefore you are forced to upgrade, even paying extra

The people you work with at American Heritage when building your home are absolutely fantastic. The neighborhood we live in is beautiful and well thought out. I can’t imagine any situation where building a home comes with zero hiccups, but any we had were dealt with quickly and with a smile. The process of building with American Heritage was a time my whole family looks back on with many positive memories that will last a lifetime. I wouldn’t change a thing in the process, or the home we’ve been enjoying for 3+ years, and to me that says a lot about the builders we worked with! We would easily
