James was amazing. I hired him for 2 hours, but he could've finished in 1 hour if it wasn't for me. I did not measure my couch correctly, so he was forced to single handedly carry my couch down 3 flights of stairs... with a smile on his face.
This was a great experience and I will be hiring Maverick again for a much larger job.

I hired James through HireAHelper to move my belongings from an apartment into a Pod for storage while I was changing jobs. He was friendly enough and the price was moderate. ($260 for 2 helpers/3 hours).
He showed up with a kid with no experience. They had good attitudes, but they broke several glass containers during the loadout. Since the cost for the containers was low (only about $20) I didn't really worry about it and assumed all was fine.
It was only a year later, when the Pod was delivered to my NEW place, that I discovered the problems. The Pod had been extremely poorly packed

James was knowledgeable and professional, and the guys did the job quickly and carefully. I would use them again and recommend them to my family/friends. He brought equipment and tools, so after I talked to him about the move specifics the day before, I didn't have to worry about any of the details.
