As soon as you pull into the driveway you know that this home is different from all the rest. A shaded slate stamped border wraps the driveway and continues to the front porch where your eyes are greeted in amazement. The stunning porch structure is made up of a series of 4x6 and 6x6 fir beams and columns all stained and sealed to match the cedar lap siding surrounding the main level of the house.
Located on an old dairy farm, this custom home has quality construction and design written all over it. Built with Arxx insulated concrete forms as the foundation and basement walls, this technology acts as a reinforced structure to the concrete wall, insulator, and vapor barrier. On the main floor, added foam insulation provides a quieter comfort for the owners.
The exterior of this northwest style home showcases the natural stonework, natural logs and cedar siding. The exterior also has custom doors made of oak and a large deck the wraps the two sides and back of the home. The deck has natural log railings supported by many large logs extending to the ground below.
Relax and listen to the waves lap up on the beach below while you watch the world's best sunsets. The owners of this home will get to enjoy those sites and sounds and they had their home designed to allow it. The front entry area is like a small courtyard with a water feature and garden with an exposed truss roof and 6x6 posts at the front door.
This custom home focuses your eye on the wide-open spaces and finishes. Cedar wrapped columns accent the front porch before entering the home and seeing the large 18 feet high ceiling of the living area. The hardwood floor is made up of Brazilian Cherry Wood or "Jatoba" which covers the living space, kitchen, dinning room, hallway, and pantry.
