We renovated our farmstyle kitchen with Brazilian Redwood flooring a few years ago through Cox Fine Floors. I immediately fell in love with the rich fiery glow it infused into this space and it’s still my favorite room in the entire house. So why write about it now? Because my sister-in-law just had hers done by a different company and it’s been a complete disaster. Slapdash, ham-handed and overpriced. It’s made me thank my lucky stars that I found Cox! What a great job installing my new hardwood floors..... over 3,000 sq.ft. on the main level in 5 days. The process was super smooth starting with Mike on the project review & quoting. They worked on my timeline of the major remodel and when their time came up from action the installation team was right on time. Asked the perfect questions and even offered advise on what looks best in regards to flooring directions to showcase the home.
These guys cleared up every day, neatly staging the wood & tools for the next day then vacuumed the installed areas daily to remove dust and wood splinters

Lots of promises and bluster, but really a rag-tag operation from this past summer. The only reason I give two stars is that they did sub-contract the tile laying to a 68-year old craftsman who could work rings around the crew from Cox. The project manager, son of the owner, laid a section of tile that had to be re-done the next day by the 60-year old. The tile is down and we are happy with the craftsman, but not Cox flooring at all. They make you feel like it is your fault for having a home and wanting things to be nice. None of them really know what that means. Hit and run operation, no follow

A great family run business. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. We had one small issue and they promptly resolved it to our satisfaction. We are so delighted with our floors. They look absolutely amazing. We were so impressed with the thorough, careful work and ensuring that we not only got something that would best serve our needs, but also looks gorgeous. Honestly, we've had our fair share of contractors and companies that provided less-than-stellar service, and dealing with Cox Fine Floors was a breath of fresh air. They truly went above and beyond.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not use these guys, crooks, unprofessional. He tried to blame markings, residue left from when the did our floors on me. He was attempting to walk out of my house, telling me I can't help you, after blaming me and after much discussion, he told me he would try to fix floors. It's been three days, I've called every day to schedule him to come fix floors and he has not answered calls. I wish I had someone I could recommend for wood floors, but I don't. If you do, please comment and let me know. My job is incomplete and looks horrible.
