Good experience working with Jonas Energy Solutions.
During the record breaking Memorial Day heatwave I couldn't take the humidity any longer. Once it hit 107 degrees I knew I needed a change.
I called Jonas on the weekend when everybody was off for the holiday. Their answering service picked up and was polite and helpful. When they reopened after the holiday, I called first thing. Their dispatch fit me in with a last minute, same day consultation. I was so grateful.
My consultation with Tyler went wonderfully. Tyler is well informed on the heating and cooling systems and good at answering

Finally came over, gave high estimate, only willing to sell one brand, no appointments for install for 2-3 weeks. Said they had a "shortage" of installers and servicepeople...
If it is as hard to work for Jonas as it is to get help from them, I understand their labor problem...
Don't use these guys, unless you like to pay double.

There is a "response" from management, once again, they said they had nobody to help due

I paid over $6000 to have the AC system properly balanced and to fix any leaks.
fast forward 6 months later when i went to replace and insulate my attic they never insulated the AC return handlers they replaced. this cost me $4.50 in spray foam cans to get it done correctly.
honestly with good conscience i could never recommend them again as they took advantage of my lack of experience at the time and thinking the job they were doing was good.
i would tell you to try any of the other local guys.

Jesse is awesome! Got our A/C running on same day as appointment! He was fast, efficient and friendly. I believe the young lady who answered the phone was named Melanie or Mindy(I'm sorry if that's wrong) was friendly and delivered telling me she was a week out with such empathy it made all the difference in me not trying to go elsewhere. She maintained professionalism and I feel her smile through the phone. The price was fair and explained well. Will be using them again in the future for sure....but hopefully not anytime soon.

Very unpleasant experience. We coordinated a 2 hour window for them to show up. I arranged my day around it. The guy called an hour before to say he was here early. However i was busy. The 2 hour window is what was prepared for. I missed the call. The technician arrived an HOUR early anyways and went racking away on my door. Extremely rude. If the client doesn't answer it's likely they are busy. Showing up early anyways is rude. What if it were a clients lunch break? Instead he woke me and my newborn baby. Heater was out. 51 degrees inside during the day. Called Jonas. They fit us in that week for a tech visit. Chris, the tech was excellent. Personable, competent, friendly with our dogs. Said he had to order a new motor. Would take weeks. He was unsure of cost. I paid him $124 for the diagnosis. And I ordered the motor. Later that day, Tyler , from Jonas, came over, as I am interested in solar energy options. However, he only wanted to sell me Mitsubishi mini splits. I do not want Mitsubishi mini splits. We woke up this morning (Sunday Labor Day Weekend) and our air conditioner had stopped working. It's supposed to be 104 today. I called Jonas at 6:30 am and to my surprise a nice person answered the phone and took my info. I immediately got a call back from Garrett. After a few questions and some price quotes he said he would come right out. Within an hour he was at the house. Garrett was super professional, courteous and efficient. All I can say is..................... PERFECTION!!!! After having a home with NO central heat or air for years and utilizing a swamp cooler and space heaters.. it worked... it was ok... BUT When it was hot outside it was hotter inside ... and when it was cold outside it was FREEZING inside. Space heaters work somewhat but the PGE bills are expensive ! Then came Jonas Energy Solutions with my Mini Split SOLUTION! I could not be happier! Turned up my thermostat this am after not using the heat for 8 months and...nada. Called Jonas (who had installed the unit) and asked if they could give me some advice. They said they would have to send someone out for a diagnostic check ($129.) So they scheduled someone for that afternoon. I had my solar installed by Jonas last year, and this year it has been cranking power on both cloudy and sunny days, they have come out and installed and tweaked a monitoring system so I can see how much I'm making and how much I'm using at any one time, real time. I finally understand all the bad reviews! Initially friendly and responsive customer service, and then they completely dropped the ball... poor communication, follow up and responsiveness.
Update: Their customer service, when they respond, is very good, so I am upping their 3-star to a 4-star. Their communication is still uneven and could be improved.

Jesse and John are the best! A/C went out and they not only came out quickly in mid-July, they special ordered and replaced my condenser motor in three days and got us back to living comfortably again! Would recommend them to anyone who wants top-notch service at a fair price. Will definitely be calling them when we replace our aging system!
