AIA Kansas provides services and programs to meet the needs and interests of Kansas architects and develop public awareness of the value of architects and architecture. Our 700-plus members are leaders in building healthy, sustainable communities that will serve our citizens into the future. Members Set the Agenda: Today's new technologies and markets make membership in AIA Kansas more important than ever.

AIA Kansas members advance the architectural profession by maintaining their professional growth and expertise through meeting a set of stringent continuing education requirements, creating access to the latest architectural practice trends, and participating in outreach for historic preservation and disaster assessment programs.

The Chapter has also been know as the Kansas Society of Architects. Education - seminars, conferences, and workshops to educate our members of an evolving profession. The American Institute of Architects in Kansas, is the voice of the architectural profession and a resource for its members in service to society.
Services
AIA Flint Hills is a component within the AIA Kansas Chapter. Centered around the city of Manhattan, Kansas, the Flint Hills Component organizes a number of events throughout the year for our nearly 50 members and often in collaboration with the Kansas State University AIAS student Chapter.
AIA Wichita is part of the National AIA organization with over 90,000 members. AIA offers members tools and resources to help you succeed and build your career, networking opportunities, and skills development. There are many benefits to joining AIA including community, education, networking and skills development to name a few.
AIA Kansas and Baker University invite you to apply to EDGE, our first annual Leadership and Business Education Program. EDGE is for those who have several years of experience and are looking for new ways to grow and develop their business and leadership skills. Each course is from 10 am - 3 pm via Zoom.
AIA Kansas is now taking applications for presentations and tours for 2021. We are working diligently to ensure that our annual conference provides relevant, high-quality content for our members and the profession. We hope that you will consider sharing your expertise, experience and knowledge. Submitted presentations and tours not chosen for the 2021 conference will be considered for other education events throughout the year.
AIA Kansas has designed a new conference format that provides virtual learning on important issues facing architecture today and in-person tours on exciting projects. The new conference format offers a series of immersive digital experiences as well as a day of in-person tours. Each conference day will consist of two presentations on one theme central to the architectural profession for a total of 14 CES credits (4 HSW pending).
