It all began 20 years ago in a moderate work shop building fixtures and displays for a well-known home goods store. This gave Erik the experience and desire to create custom cabinetry. Eventually, he began working for a construction and design group remodeling homes on the North Shore. This experience provided Erik with a keen eye for high-end finishes, and an extensive network of designers and contractors.
In 2014, Dapper Construction was born. Since then, Erik has worked closely with Chicagoland designers, architects, and homeowners to make dreams and drawings become forever homes.

We create and install custom finishing touches like moldings, tray ceilings, and transoms that make your home unique. We build custom cabinetry in our local woodworking shop to make cabinets that work for your home. We work with your designer to install cabinets from reputable cabinet companies in our area.
