Behlmann's Carnection is the Premier Used Car Dealership in St. Peters. It is a product of a vision shared by Paul Behlmann and his son Roger. Paul was born the youngest of twelve children in a family who described themselves as "dirt farmers" in Florissant MO. He set out with two relatives to start a used tire sales business in north St. Louis County.
Over the years, the company rapidly grew in to one of the largest tire and lawnmower retailers in the Midwest. In the 70's General Motors asked Paul and his partners if they had any interest in acquiring the local GM dealership. The tire center became the first of the family's auto dealerships.
After years of success, in the year 2000, the Behlmanns opened a dealership in St. Peters, which was the largest pre-owned center in the St. Louis metropolitan area.Nine years later, the family divided the automotive group, and a new full service facility was built. This is what we now know as Behlmann's Carnection.

I bought a truck in April of 2019 (Tundra 153k miles). Was told its great, i would be third owner, was a local trade-in, blah blah blah. I barley used this truck about 15k miles put on it and the engine blows up. The repair for this is over $10k. I would not buy a vehicle from here. They get wholesale junk used car/trucks and resell them.

My wife and I bought a mini van from Carnection three weeks ago. We worked with Brittany, she was absolutely fantastic. She answered all of our questions and at no time did we feel any pressure to buy. Fast forward a couple of weeks and we noticed an issue with the air conditioner. Chris in service was able to figure it out (it was a minor issue) and get the car back to us. I had never worked with Carnection before, but after this experience I will continue to go back to them!

They were great until they weren't. I bought a Tahoe that was missing the 3rd row. I offered a lower price due to the missing seats but carnection counter-offered that they would order a 3rd row for me if I would pay the higher price point. This seemed reasonable so I agreed.
Problem was, the 3rd row they installed in my vehicle was of extremely low quality. It was literally damaged with some of the plastic parts cracked and there were stains that go beyond normal wear and tear (see attached photos). Also, the seats were filthy! Pet hair, strange spots, etc.

Came to browse the lot to see if I could find a deal better than what I had already found. All I was looking for was a newer truck with back up camera 4x4 and a 1500. He said well the only truck I'd sell you for 25k was a 2005 Chevy with 105,000 miles! I'm buying a 2017 Silverado with 40k miles for that same price. Wow. I just laughed at him and left. What a rip off.

Bought our last car here almost 3 years ago, just traded it in for our new one! Tristan was great to work with as we're all of the other employees we came into contact with. The process was made super easy and they made sure we had everything we needed. It has after market wheels & tires on it and it includes a 3 year warranty on those for any damages!

BEWARE!!!I bought a car with the check engine light on. At time of sale we had an agreement to get it fixed. My salesperson (Joe) told me they had a Mercedes Benz specialist working there as a mechanic. It has been back 5 times for the same problem. It has been almost 2 months since I bought the car and the problem is still not fixed. Since the check engine light is on, I cannot get it legal. Do not buy a car from these crooks! 2 years ago we purchased a car from this dealership. They gave us a clean car fax and off we went. Terrible customer service! I was looking for a used truck and the sales manager was very rude. I informed him of my interest in a certain vehicle, I told him that it was a little too expensive and if he could come down a little we could talk. He refused to work with me AT ALL. I will never work with Carnection and will warn others to avoid them as well.

I bought my truck here and everyone was nice and helpful......then I signed the paperwork and that was over. It was like pulling teeth for anything. Getting the title was terrible, I don't live in St. Peter's, to have to make 3 trips up there I finally got it. It's a used truck so there were a few things that needed fixing and the service department manager was helpful but I dropped the truck off then a few hours later he calls and said "this is a ford thing we're not going to touch it". The cherry on top is the truck didn't have an antenna I asked for one and

I've bought 3 vehicles here. All have been nice and reliable. The only complaint I have is, they should disclaim if the car you are wanting to purchase was a previous rental car. The last car I purchased I found out after receiving title that it had been a Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Rental cars are abused and have a lot more wear and tear then the visual eye can see.

My experience at this place of business was horrifying to say the least. I bought a 40,000 pick up truck from here. after driving for a week or so realized that the truck was leaning. brought the truck in and when I told more then one associate about my issues they said they would look into it while doing a safety inspection. After that the so called service manager had looked into he had said there is nothing broke or bent. I was lied to and sold a vehicle that did not have most of the features I made clear were a requirement. It was a fast sale based on trust which I should have never done so. I asked not to run my credit as I was already pre approved & they did anyways. When I noticed & asked them why their answer was "because they can get me a better rate" I agreed since the damage was Done. He also made clear it was only a couple of soft hits when Later I learned it was over a dozen hard hits! They said they beat interest rate (3.9). When the best the got me was 5.4. I had to settle with 4.9
