Terrible! Osceola was hired to install a wooden fence behind our yard earlier this month (Nov 2021). The crew did a great job with the demolition and removal of the old fence. The new fence is very subpar from the installation to the material used. For example, more than half of the wood panels are split down the middle or broken off on the sides or bottoms-- the servicemen continued to work possibly hoping that we would not notice.
A small percentage of the wood planks were mis-measured by at least 2 inches. Therefore, the fence is uneven in sections which is obvious. Again, the servicemen

Wonderful group to work with! The sales staff worked with us through multiple scenarios while we worked details out concerning shared portions of the fence with a neighbor. The fence is beautiful and the installation was very professional. I’m extremely happy with the fence and am scheduling them to install the same at my personal residence. Great work. Horrible communication. Once the fence was installed it was done in a timely professional manner. There were a lot of delays due to covid and supplies which is understandable but there was no communication from the company at all on these issues unless I called repeatedly. most of the time the answers I received were very vague. The projected was supposed to be completed 5-6wks after our 50% deposit was received and we made it to 10+ before it went in.

1) Incorrect length of fence (twice as long as specified)
2) Incorrect height of fence as specified
3) Incorrect height of gate as specified
4) Incorrect number of gate hinges as specified
5) Incomplete gate closing mechanism options as specified
6) Incomplete keyed lock options as specified
7) Incomplete fence fabric coating weight details as specified

It took 3 months to get the fence installed and when they did install it they left a huge mess in my backyard. Dripped paint all over the cement, cement over my patio furniture, and stray tools.
I would NOT recommend using this company. With other great fence companies in Chicago they will just create headaches for you.

The most beautifully crafted cedar fence. The steel was painted with paint (not powder coated) but that's okay and keep an eye out for my next business venture. Listen...there is a worldwide shortage of wood and you will be lucky if you could get these guys to craft your dream fence. I'll be honest, there were some bumps along the way communication - wise. ... but all in all I have my dream fence, made of cedar, with paint on the steel. I give everyone 5 stars because all the individuals that worked on my fence were EXTREMELY skilled! I just wish they could find a powder coat steel person

Guy came for an estimate, barely listened to what I wanted then told me he wouldn't give me a price until I had other estimates and told him the price. I ask him to give me their price and he said he would call me later that night since he didn't want anything if writing. Still haven't hear from him on a price or follow-up over a week later. Wouldn't trust them to do any work after that experience.

I am super happy about entire process. From the initial communication from Bob, to the installer Jose calling me a couple days before install it went smoothly and took about a month. I am super happy with the fence, it looks AMAZING. I had reached out to eight other companies, only five of those called me back. Two canceled on me the day they were supposed to come give me a quote and one was late and when I told him another company had an appointment at the time he wanted to come, he told me "well good luck then:". Osceola was the only one who was on time, professional, reasonably priced

This company installed a large 10' Iron Rolling gate in our commercial property. It was very well constructed and the job was done with the up most professionalism. The gate looks great and we will enjoy it for years to come. Get it done right the first time and go with Osceola Fence. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider of any kind. I would strongly recommend not working with this company. Outside of poor quality of work, they were difficult to work with, slow, and dishonest. I will provide details.
-Difficult to work with: The whole process took over 2 months from start to finish for work that should have taken 1-2 weeks at the most. We had a quote completed in June, and we had to follow up with them to get a date scheduled. Their office manager was incredibly absent minded- she lost track of details- and is a very poor communicator

Getting a fence quoted and installed is way harder than it sounds. Osceola was the 5th or 6th fence company we contacted after many other companies broke appointments, didn't return calls or follow through. By the time we got to them, we were defeated and more or less agreed that if the quote was reasonable and we could get on the schedule quickly, we'd hire them.
I found Osceola because their plaque was on the fence where I used to rent a parking space. It was a wood fence and the quality of work seemed really good. Our salesman was nice, but very salesy. To his credit, he showed up

From start to finish, everyone was great to work with and our fence took a month to install. Price was on par with everyone we got quotes from, and the quality of work was awesome. Everyone was always very good about getting back to us, and helpful with our questions. I highly suggest them for your fencing needs.

Salesman came out right away to take measurements and was supposed to call in 4 days with the numbers. A week passed so i called and he hadn't been able to talk to the boss yet but told me that he would try for the next day. Another 10 days passed and I never heard back. After not getting the info or a call in a timely manner, I lost faith. Maybe our job was too small for them but that doesn't mean common courtesy goes out the window. I only gave them 2 stars because the salesman was great when he came out and it may not have been his fault.
