The sales manager, scheduler, and crew are a professional team. On time, on price, and job well done. The job was removal of two coastal redwoods which was done in less than three hours. I've scheduled them for future work. Highly recommend.

They were punctual, professional and knowledgeable. They showed up right on time with enough employees to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Russell, the lead, made several suggestions on how to trim certain trees which benefited the trees much better than my original plan.
The pricing was very affordable for the product.
I could tell that the whole team honestly had the best interest of my trees in mind with every action they took. The team knew exactly what needed to be done so the whole operation ran very smoothly. They cleaned up my yard, leaving zero mess.

Used this company twice in the past month when I found out all the trees in the house I just bought were poisonous to my dog. They were super professional, friendly, fast, efficient, and made sure I was happy with everything. Very reasonably priced and did an excellent job cleaning up after they were done. We got three estimates and Shipman was the cheapest. He also gave us an itemized estimate for our entire project which the other two didn't do. They were prompt, cut down the trees and ground down the stumps and cleaned up after. They are great!!

These guys know trees! We had a surprise tree down in our front yard the day after the Fourth and we thought for sure one of the 6" shell boomers got to it but nah it was diseased and old. The quote was on the money and the crew very professional and knowledgeable. We had them look at our big tree out back. Turns out what my realtor said was an Oak is an Ash! They said the tree could be saved so obviously we took that option. They cleaned up after themselves sawdust and all. Highly recommend!

Russell and his crew, Rich and Mark, spent a half day at my house in Exeter removing 3 large queen palms and trimming many others. They all did a fabulous job -- extremely professional, friendly, and exceptional quality work from setup to cleanup. Trimming palms is not easy work but Russell knows what he's doing, the experience shows in all the work they did. Shipman Tree Service has the best equipment and people to tackle these big tree trimming and removal jobs. I highly recommend them!

THIS IS NOT THE SAME COMPANY WE ALL USED TO LOVE! The new owner really sucks. He wanted to charge my mom more money for doing the same job Jeff shipman always did. Jeff had quality work that was expensive but you didn't mind paying bc Jeff was knowledgeable and did amazing work.
This new owner wants to come and cut the trees up to ugly mushroom tops without thinning but still charge the same. My four palms are fine. But I have five other trees that require thinning. Only two of those trees look awesome bc they were done by Jeff's old worker. He works for this company now. Wish he had

Have a huge Chinese elm that hadn't been trimmed up in 7 years. These guys came out and tackled the job. It looked like a new tree when they were done. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable, plus the price was right!

I woke up today to find that one of my trees in the front yard had split and dropped a large branch that was laying about 1/2 way across our street. I called Jeff, and he and his crew came out and removed the tree. They were done within an hour of my initial call! They were great! And, the cost was very fair. I will call Jeff in the future!!

Jeff and his crew are just awesome! I have used Jeff Shipman's Tree Service for a couple of years now for various job such as pruning, thinning, tree stump removal and so on. They are ALWAYS consistent and do a fabulous job not to mention are very reasonable.

Jeff came and gave estimate to take down and grind stump of a 7 year old pistachio tree. His secretary said Jeff was about 2 weeks booked up, so I thought I'd shop around in the meantime. I got quotes from Beningo's and Sanchez Brothers; and though both companies were both very nice and professional, Jeff was $50 cheaper and $100 cheaper than both of the other companies. Jeff gave a little discount since I was paying cash, thanks!
His crew were nice and professional, total time to knock down the tree and grind the stump was about 25 minutes. Cleanup was also very good.
