All of our products have unique characteristics that cannot be replicated using new wood. That's why our flooring products are gently hand-sanded by our craftsmen in-house, taking care to preserve the historical integrity of the wood. If you opt for hand-sanded wood only, your hardwood flooring will come to you ready to install and finish, or we will pre-finish it for you.
100% hand-rubbed using Waterlox (a Tung oil based sealer/finish) blended with stain if you wish (watch video). We custom craft your reclaimed hardwood flooring in our East Tennessee facility, and ship it directly to you as soon as the finish dries, eliminating any middle-men and mark-ups.

Granny's Store Flooring is Inspired by "Granny's General Store." This blend of Appalachian hardwoods is bursting with character! We use a random mix of visually stunning boards, with cracks, nail and knot-holes, and original saw kerfs. We hand peg and/or fill select boards for strategic placement in highly visible areas (10 "specialty" boards per 1000 s.f.**).
When it comes to wood floors, Classic White Oak Flooring is truly an American Tradition. Our Old Growth variety offers classic beauty, strength and durability with just the right amount of character. Not only is our Old Growth Classic White Oak the perfect choice for those desiring a clean, classic look, it is ultimate DIY material.
Reclaimed Barnwood Shiplap is what our company specializes in. We carefully dismantle old barns, stables, and similar structures. With just a little TLC and finishing, we give the reclaimed old wood and lumber a brand new life! And YOU can reap the benefits of the wood's 100+ years of strength, beauty, and historic character!
Give your project a finishing touch with our custom trim or molding. Most of our trim is crafted from Reclaimed Oak, but we can certainly use most any species in our inventory. Outstanding customer service and quality product. I had a small project and needed specific stained Shiplap. Steve, the owner, communicated with me during a weekend, met me on his day off and was very generous with his time. He was able to produce exactly what I needed from a picture and delivered the product to me for free because he was planning to be in my area , all within a week. Steve is extremely passionate about what he does. He went out of his way to treat my small order as a priority. I highly recommend this company and am very excited to get the beautiful product installed.

I loved working with Steve. His excitement about wood was humorous at times but I loved his passion! His passion was evident as each piece he made for us was unique and expertly crafted. Steve designed ceiling beams, mantles, and a stairwell for my newly constructed home. He also made a beautiful 4 foot round mirror. I enjoyed walking around his property and choosing the perfect pieces of wood for my projects. I would highly recommend Historic Flooring!

Steve and his team created custom barn doors, wine cellar door and trim, wood barrel arch ceiling and beams, and wood walls for our new home. I was too late finding HF for our wood flooring. Steve was a pleasure to work with. He is creative, engaging, fun, communicative and produces a timely product. I would highly recommend HF to anyone looking for high quality wood products. We'd use him again in a second!

Historic Flooring was amazing to work with. I wasnt sure how it would be working with someone out of state (all the way in Colorado!!) but Steve was amazing, sent me pictures, texted, called all the time to ensure the finished product would be exactly what I wanted. If I had to do it again I would definitely use Historic Flooring! Hopefully we will have another project in the future where we can use his skill and expertise. Thank you Steve!!
