Had door on our third bay that wouldn't go down, so called these guys up. I have to say, I was super impressed with Amy and Jeremy! They were able to resolve the issue very quickly. I assumed once they resolved the issue, that would be the end of the visit, but they did a once-over on the whole door, framing, and more along with our main door as well.

Called because garage door wasn’t opening (spring had broken). Amy said she would get someone out there the same day to make it work temporarily, and would order the parts to fix it more permanently. Repairman showed up, worked on the garage door and then came in and said it was fixed…I asked when he thought they would be back with the part and he said it was already done. I have had wonderful experiences with Thompson’s Garage Door!

Had door on our 3rd bay that wouldn't go down; so, called these guys up. I have to say, I was super impressed with Amy and Jeremy! They were able to resolve the issue 'very quickly'. I assumed once they resolved the issue, that would be the end of the visit, but they did a once over on the whole door, framing etc...and our main door as well. Super happy with the service. If you have garage door issues, THESE ARE THE FOLKS TO CALL!!! :-)

BEWARE! OVERCHARGED!
These people were very nice, so I unfortunately didn't think they would try to rip me off. Boy was I wrong. She gave me a quote of $350 for a spring repair and an opener. She also charged me an extra $20 After she had already quoted me. They also DO NOT stand behind their work and parts! I later found out that most people in town charge about $120 LESS! It's so sad that people love to take advantage of others situations! My advice to others... DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

This is on behalf of a neighbor whose garage door wouldn't open or close properly. She contacted Thompson, paid the service call and related service to "fix" the problem. When the problem persisted, she contacted them again and was told she would be charged another $20 service call. Frustrated and angry, she asked my husband to take a look. He's not a garage door expert, but it was instantly evident that the problem wasn't high tech; it was cobwebs that had grown over the sensors. He cleaned them and the door works perfectly. One wonders if they would have taken advantage of her if she wasn't older
