We had never used a professional company to move before and were very nervous. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Ashley and Robert took care of our move from NJ to FL. For starters, they were not only on time, but early. They were extremely professional, and took care of my furniture as it were theirs. The backed team was fantastic, from the booking to communications along the way. Everything went so smoothly.
Our move arrived 1 day early to Florida (always a win). The unloading was quick. The guys were so agile and so pleasant!

I used Transtar to move my things into storage while I was house-hunting and then again for a long-distance move from NJ to DE. First off, customer service is amazing! Tiffany and Kristy are so nice and make sure that all of your questions and concerns are addressed. Secondly, compared to other services, their prices aren't too bad--even the long-term storage prices were competitive. Finally, on moving day (both times), the delivery guys were very polite and considerate. They were very careful not to scratch the furniture or floors, and only one pieces of my furniture was a little bit banged up

I was very nervous moving from NJ to NC and having to trust a moving company with ALL of our belongings. I was so impressed with how courteous and kind the movers and driver were. They took the extra time to wrap and secure everything! When our delivery came, they were awesome with unloading everything into our new home. The Transtar moving team made our move as seamless as possible! With two small kids and a puppy in the mix, moving was stressful to say the least - but from arranging the quote to making the move happen the day of, we felt like we were in great hands with Transtar. I highly recommended this moving company! To start someone from the company came out to give us an estimate. He went over everything that needed to be moved, went over the extra charges for certain items that would need special wrapping as far as lamps, mirrors and our big screen TV. We chose to transport the lamps and mirrors ourselves but opted to have them safely wrap and move our TV. He put all the information in his IPad and had a portable printer so printed out our copy right there which I was impressed with. He also went over how the price could be more or less meaning the estimated number

The process of moving is both stressful and such a hassle. Fortunately, I was given a recommendation of a moving company that turned out to be terrific. From the first time we spoke to arrange the on-site review (for the moving quote) and then subsequent conversations arranging the move date were hassle free. When the pack up date arrived.........WOW ! The the driver prepped the house with runners and brought in boxes and wrapping paper............then a crew of four packed our house (over 3,500 sq ft) in less than one day. Really happy with their service and performance. I had about 8-10 quotes from other moving companies, ranging from internet based moving companies to the large recognized van lines. It got to the point where my parents (where half my my things were stored) told me that they weren't going to let anyone else in the house to help with a quote.
So here I was, with 8-10 quotes, and Arpin (Transtar) was the last to get into my parents house. I had to make a choice. My move was in a few weeks.... we were going from Philly to a state down south, so it was a big move.

I used this company four years ago to move. They were professional, on time, and when a issue arrises they problem solved and came up with a solution. So when i moved this time I didn't even bother calling around to get other estimates and schedule Transtar.
Unfortunately this time around I was disappointed. Fantastic company from first call and scheduling with a sales rep. Scott Davis was professional in helping me decide on a moving company. Any phone calls were professional. Packers Frank B and Corey were outstanding. Movers lead by Ryan and team Corey and Andrew couldn't have been better. From arrival to departure they were a real team. It is amazing to watch my entire home get packed in storage containers that will be in there climate controlled facility. It took them 7 hrs to wrap and store. My house was left neat and am hoping after 4-5 months this TEAM will deliver to my new home

Andy and James were great. Moved a boxspring and mattress, big sofa sectional, TV stand and dresser for my son. Wasn't a big move but they did an excellent job. Were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend Transtar Moving Systems to do your move. I am shocked at the poor reviews. Andy and James were very careful with the furniture.

I have used this company for a few smaller moves in the past so they were my only choice when it came to a complex move involving four different properties. It went off without a hitch and came in under budget both time and money. The guys were very helpful and hard workers. I just moved from New Jersey to Miami, and it was my first big move so I was a little nervous about it. I'm so glad I went with Transtar to help me, because they took a lot of the stress out of moving. The team who came in and packed up my items were careful, professional, and experienced. I hired Transtar to do a local move. First let me say that the movers themselves (sub-contractors) were both good, (with one being exceptional), as the move was from an upstairs apartment to another upstairs apartment and he really worked hard getting all of my boxes up and down those stairs and all of my items survived intact.
My complaint with this company was with the way the moving costs were estimated, which left me feeling as though I had been purposely mislead.

I am writing this review on here, after speaking with the company reps, and I can tell you this is categorically one of the worst moving companies, on par with a local guy with a truck. Some issues we had:
1) They sent the wrong size truck. So at 10pm at night on the 3rd day of packing, they had to unload everything b/c it did not all fit. Driver/foreman told his boss at the beginning of the job, but was told he was wrong.
2) They "wrote down the wrong day" for the delivery on the other side. This was a large interstate move, our very small, toddler and preschooler were sent to my

Very disappointed! We used Transtar for several moves. The movers seemed experienced. The insurance was not completely explained and they ended up wrecking an expensive modern chair. The chair was stored in their warehouse for several days before delivery.
Then, they said because I didn't opt for additional insurance, they only had to pay 60 cents per pound or computed by them ---$60! The chair was worth $3500. Part of this move was paid for by the US government, thus more fully insured!
Please ask lots of questions!

I had your typical office stuff to move, but quite a bit of heavy equipment as well. From the initial quote process with Patrick through the moving day with a punctual, capable, friendly and patient team (6 chaps, 2 trucks, 2 trips), right on through follow up, I couldn't have been happier with Transtar.

We hired these movers to help us pack our household. Rather than remove the bumper from my 6-month old son's crib to pack it, they cut the cloth ties, destroying my property. I would NEVER use this company again. They moved my mattress onto their truck without a protective bag or box, immediately after telling me they'd use both, staining and permanently damaging the sides and corners. A lie to my face. I would NEVER use this company again. They **shattered** a dining chair made of solid wood moving from their truck to their warehouse. And damaged the one specific piece
