I called to help with a leak from my older furnace , spoke to Denise in office and tech Deven came out , worked on it did get it running again and recommended a new system. the unit was at least 20 years old and time for new so I was happy to meet with Marcus and got a great deal on a Rheem system . couldn't be happier with my experience with Topline.

Do not use this company. Hard stop. They have missed 3 appointments without calling to let us know they wouldn't be available and put the burden on us to follow-up on their mistakes. Dealing with Diana, Marcus, and every other employee at this company is like talking to a brick wall. They say sorry but offer no explanation for their mistakes and just expect the customer to move their schedule around and assume the burden of all the inconveniences that they cause. I would rather deal with a cable company than this train wreck of an organization. They do not care about their customers and do not

Look elsewhere -- this company is terrible. Had a furnace with a clogged condensate drain and needed someone to get it cleaned out and running again. The Topline "technician" that came out did not do any actual diagnosis on the unit other than taking the cover off. They said we would need $1900 in parts or a new furnace. No thanks. Called another company and was up and running in less than an hour.

Terrible company. Do not trust them. First they lied to us about being able to properly install a new AC unit in a different area on our property just to induce us to sign an agreement to purchase a new unit. Next they told us it would be installed in a week or two. Then they told us it would actually be up to 8 weeks. Then they tried to tell us that the unit we ordered would not be available for several more weeks and tried to switch out the unit we ordered with a completely different unit made by a different company and refused to provide paperwork to specify exactly the manufacturer and model

We have had nothing but trouble with this system. This has been a terrible ordeal for my family and this company has no integrity or accountability for there unprofessional actions. It’s like we have purchased a lemon. We have to take legal action if no one repairs our system. Please do more research about this company and there service department before using this company. We were told that this $10,000 system was top of the line and this system was compatible to my home , but that is not true and I’m tired of begging and pleading for help. I absolutely 100% recommend this company to anyone who needs an honest awesome air conditioning and heating service provider. In 2014 I needed to replace HVAC unit. Can't say enough great things about Topline! Sam and the whole team are top notch! They took the time to explain to me what was going on, before giving recommendations on repairs and a quote. When scheduled to come out and provide a "free estimate", they will not actually provide that estimate. They'll send a guy out to review your property, waste three weeks of your time waiting for the results of that estimate, and then inform you that they can't provide the estimate, as they don't have a person available to do the work. Of course, the fact that you've never discussed when you need the work done doesn't matter. They just kept you on the hook for weeks that you could have spent trying to get another plumber to check things out.

This place is great! Brad was super friendly and willing to talk me through the details of my issue and what they could do to take care of it. Problem solved in less than 48 hours, and we needed parts replaced. Fantastic and fast.

Made a simple call to this "highly rated" company. The girl at the answering service, Saj, has the brain and functioning capacity of a 4 year old!

I inquired about a simple tune up. She was at a loss for words at what that was and what it entailed. She repeatedly, and I cannot overemphasize repeatedly enough, said "it includes them coming to your home and any additional work will cost extra!" (So they come out and say hi and charge me money or do they actually do any work?)

I called Topline to do a repair on my b vent for my furnace. My storm collar seal was leaking which cause an elbow and approximately 3 feet of b vent to corrode. All I needed was the the corroded sections replaced. They advised they would only do the job if they replaced all the venting down to the furnace in the basement. I have a two story home and replacing everything would entail opening up walls. It would be thousands of dollars to do that. Why would i spend $$$ on things that don't need replaced. The dispatch fee is ridiculous. I will never call them again.

I would not recommend Topline. They are overpriced. I had a Topline technician come perform a diagnostic on my broken furnace. He determined the control board had to be replaced. He quoted me $940 to replace the control board!

This was late in the afternoon and was his last appointment so I told him I'll think about it overnight. I asked him to write up a work order with the estimated work. This company has saved us TWICE from the most frigid days of winter -- about two years ago and then again last night at the outside of the 2019 polar vortex. On top of that, their prices seem completely fair. If you need prompt or emergency service, call Topline.

The first time we called, it was early Sunday evening and I noticed our downstairs was exceptionally cold and the radiators weren't pumping out heat. It was one of (if not the) coldest nights of the winter, and we had a 2-year-old child. My husband got out our laptops and called at least 6-10 HVAC companies that touted 24-hour service

Topline came out on a freezing Saturday, found that our furnace had died (we expected it) and replaced our furnace on the same day! Shout out to Tom, Drew and Todd for the professional service and dedication. We are very happy with the work Topline has done for us and will continue to be customers.

A couple of years ago I had a favorable experience with them. So favorable that I signed a maintenance contract. Had a technician out again two+ weeks ago for regular maintenance on our AC units and it was a terrible experience. First, I requested 8am and he showed at 10am. Secondly, his "maintenance call" lasted five hours - including telling me that he only needed about 30 minutes to proceed to be there another three hours (and left for an hour to go have lunch!!!). I had to ask the guy three times if he would fill up our coolant in the units and he said he kept forgetting to... I reviewed

PHENOMENAL SERVICE!!! Topline went above and beyond my expectations, Nasser was kind enough to find the time to make a trip to my parents house after finding out they were without heat. It's rare to find companies that make your concerns a priority and Topline did just that for us! Look no further, call Topline!

They were 1 hour late for a 2-hour window when the tech showed up I got a bill for $129 to diagnose but because he was so late work would have to continue another day. I got an estimate the next day and several emails and phone calls were unanswered. The estimate was for "repairs" and for $400. I wanted details. Sorry, I moved on.

I gave this company so many chances before writing this review.
They installed a whole new HVAC system to our house this summer. There were some serious issues about the units not fitting in our home, you'd think they would have measured before trying to install them, but that's not even where things get bad.
New system was in after much unneccessary hassle. Brand new AC and furnaces! We should be good to go for years!
Nope.
First day after installation. Downstairs AC doesn't work. They come out to repair. The brand new system. Fine.
Second week after installation, Peoples Gas tried

Our furnace stopped working at 8pm on a 10 degree night - Topline tech AJ came out within a couple hours and got it up and working temporarily for the night and came back in the morning with the necessary replacement parts. AJ was helpful and honest, and we would definitely contact Topline again for any HVAC issues.

I've used Topline multiple times, and will keep using them for all my hvac needs. Always very detailed and clean with their work

I recently had Top Line remove and replace my existing furnace and A/C unit...and they did an amazing job of it. I live in a 3 flat in Chicago, with the A/C on the roof. My furnace was also in a relatively awkward location (about 8' above the floor in my wall, with an opening too small to take it out.

I had a few other companies come out to get quotes, and they all freaked out by the work that needed to be done (one company wouldn't even give me a quote, due to the weird location of my Furnace). When I contacted Top Line, the inspector not only said the area was no problem, but also

103 heat index and central ac goes out.a call to top line with a service request at 10 am they explained they were busy and would be their as soon as possible, very understandable. They called numerous times to give me updates. Jim showed up at 8 pm and he was very courteous even though you can see it was a long day for him. He treated me and my ac great and got it running in 30 minuntes with no bs or upsales. I even talked to Sam the boss to tell him what a great job he did. Totally recommend them to a friend or family. Honest and courteous and very professional.

I had great service from these guys. The technician, Sam O, stayed as late as was needed, and was willing to stay through a storm to get my A/C up and running again. I didn't let him, but when he came back the next day, the air was running again much quicker than I thought. I called these guys on Wednesday late morning, by Thursday at 5, my system was fixed. I just sent him over to help with a neighbor, who was also having trouble with his.
I don't know how their prices compare, I didn't price out options, but I trust they were competitive. If not, I don't wanna know, cause
