This company should NOT be doing business. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! I reached out to them about a move and they sent me an estimate immediately. I thought that was a good sign. Unfortunately , that's all they did right. They did not show up when they said they would to pick up my furniture etc. and they didn't deliver the most expensive item they took. And now they refuse to return phone calls. I should have checked the Better Business Bureau before hiring them. They are NOT BBB accredited even though they have the BBB insignia on their communications!

I initially contacted New Jersey Transport October 2020.
I finalized my move April 2021 due to delays on my end.
I moved from New Jersey to Atlanta, Ga. The entire team was very professional and delivered my furniture within three days, great. I recommend getting extra insurance always a good idea. I will definitely contact
New Jersey Transport for future jobs.

Beware before booking with them! Best experience ever until I paid and then my sales lady and the whole NJ Transport was horrible. I had pick up on 1/17 and promised delivery was 1/29. The contract stated up to 3 weeks but they promised me the date. Did not show up on 1/29 and was upset but had to just move on. 3 week delivery window arrival was suppose to be 2/7 and never showed up. After 20 voicemails and 20 emails with no response, finally got a hold of someone and they notified me that it had not even moved from the warehouse on 2/8. Finally heard might leave on Wednesday, but nobody answered

Excellent Service
I didn't even look at the reviews prior to booking because I was referred by my son in law.

The movers were so polite, friendly and professional.

They disassembled everything wrapped it like a Christmas present and lifted my heavy furniture without breaking a sweat.

When my items arrived in my new house down in Florida not ONE SINGLE THING WAS BROKEN.

They did all the packing so I am sure that helped. After working in heat for several hours they had my house put together.

Can't say enough good things about this company.

We decided to use this company to pack our belongings in Rhode Island. Packed by two professionals we felt we were in good hands and they moved very quickly. Our belongings were stored at their main hub in New Jersey. They charged us monthly - no issues. When it came time to finally deliver to our new home in SC, the move was scheduled and a big truck showed up. After almost 2 hours of the one mover they sent unloading other peoples stuff into our driveway , the man realized our stuff was in fact never loaded onto the truck. He had to call up to the hub where it was confirmed our stuff was left

This company obviously outsourced my move to a few low budget losers! The guy was hard to get ahold of, he lied about his ETA many times and he was rude! When you pay a few thousand for a move, you expect better! Don't waste your time or money on this company

I recently moved across the country from NYC to LA and hired NJ Transport. Moving is already stressful enough without having to deal with unprofessional and the worst customer service you will ever experience. My things were picked up on July 8th for ASAP delivery, at the three week mark I started to contact the company to see when I could expect things because the promised delivery date was approaching. I spoke with Debra who was my initial contact to get a quote and set up the move. It took several emails to get a response along with phone calls and finally she left me a voice mail that "

Do not! I repeat.I just moved to Florida and used this company. They are liars, and very unprofessional. When I spoke to them over the phone they gave me an estimate then added 1200 more for fees that were crazy. Then when they arrived for delivery two weeks later (when I was told my delivery would be set for ASAP) smfh.... the guys were smoking and drinking beer. They also made up additional fees onto of what we already paid. Then they broke three large pieces of furniture. Oh yea sorry I missed something. When you choose a moving company, choose carefully because it is a long process and the agony can be prolonged. I chose to overlook some of the poor reviews (and the manager blaming reviewers for their own "mistakes" that had caused problems) that I had read about NJ Transport because the price looked too good to be true. It was, indeed, too good to be true for a quality moving experience. I had an interstate move with NJ Transport and not only was the service poor, we had to deal with the consequences of their dishonesty for an extended period of time.

If it is possible to give this company a lower rating I would.
They are scammers, they quote you a binding estimate for your move and then after everything is packed in their truck they tell you the move is going to cost you more.

I moved from NJ to AZ - they held my stuff hostage for 3 weeks without giving me a delivery date. I got the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration involved and my stuff was delivered within one week.

But all the furniture was either scratched, ripped, broken or had huge chunks out of the wood. My sofa legs were lost and several boxes never were delivered. It appears

Soooo.... after this nightmare of a move I can share that we did get all of our items and in perfect condition. However the driver was horrible! I finally got a guaranteed delivery time, the driver was over an hour late and showed up by himself, he told me he could not pull into the apartment complex because it was too crowded, I explained that was the very reason I advised him to come before everyone got off work, but he accused me of trying to tell him how to do his job. So he finally parks and tells me that he will now have to charge me for a long haul. I asked him how he could possibly unload

We used this company to transport one room from Brooklyn to Fort Lauderdale and have been getting conflicting if any at all communication from all who work here. Not to mention that they are charging us $400 more than what they should be. Whatever - moving companies are crooks - I won't even keep going on this point. My biggest complaint is their customer service. IT'S GOD AWFUL, Y'ALL. When the movers arrived on 4/14 in New York - they told us it would take 5-7 days to receive our items and he made sure I would be home between 5-7 days because if no one was there, they would charge

WARNING POTENTIAL MOVERS: AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

I waited a few months to write this review to avoid using extreme language and utter frustration and disappointment. I moved back to GA from NYC at the end of April and used this company to do so. Hands down, one of the worst decisions I've ever made. They showed up 7 hours late while I waited around in my boxed up apartment for them the entire day and then arrived 8 hours late to GA from NYC. My family and myself were helping them unpack the truck at 12am.
Boxes mangled and falling apart when received. An entire wall shelf was broken in half

We only had to use a moving service twice so far , hiring New Jersey Transport was the second time, moving our apartment in NY . I can see and understand how somethings can go wrong in the moving process , but our experience was an absolutely smooth packing , moving and unpacking . Ronny was very communicative and helpful whenever we needed him or just had a question .

I would recommend New Jersey Transport to anyone looking for a moving company (Our move was a local move)

I have been waiting for a business delivery of a couch since July 19 (over a month).

I have called at least 4 times each week since the expected delivery date to either no answer or a completely incompetent one. Two weeks ago, I got a call at 6 PM on a Wednesday to say, "our truck will be there in 45 minutes." This is a business address and no one would be available to accept the delivery that late on a weeknight. I was told that if we didn't accept it that day, there would be a $300 storage charge, even though NJ Transport failed to call me beforehand or give me any other notice

I'm not sure how they got all these great reviews. Our experience was absolutely horrible. The original estimate was entirely incorrect based on unforeseen issues we weren't even aware of, which we understood, and realized it will cost more. What we didn't expect was the simple, basic attitudes by almost everyone we came in contact with.

Our furniture was held hostage by NJ Transport (due to their incompetent employees) for two additional days and owner demanded (screaming, cursing and threatening on the phone) that we pay the additional $1400 in cash instead of using a credit card
