Angel and Christian just finished aerating and dethatching our lawn. They were methodical and meticulous. They cleared away all the thatch first by using a blower, then raking, then they used another lawn mower type machine that got the rest of it. It is a very windy day and they kept our patio, gazebo area, and front porch perfectly clean by using their blower several times. We will be calling Santillan for all our landscape needs from now on. In fact, I am a schoolteacher who has been working from home the past year and I gave them both a gold star! 😊

Bryan and Brittany are GREAT! I called 3 landscapers and they were the ONLY ones who replied and made the appointment! Bryan is honest and listens to you and makes great suggestions but keeps reminding you that you would need to be happy because it is YOUR decision. I would highly recommend this company and I would refer anyone looking for services like his!

From the start, in a very, very good way - I was totally blown away by the professionalism of Brittany, Bryan and their employees . . . Let me preface by saying that I had contacted a few other landscaping companies and they were either too busy to even bother returning messages, or failed to show up at the appointed time we had scheduled. One guy even said, "I have a flat tire and I have another appointment today, so I can't come to your house." Say what????

In any event, I moved on from these "joke" companies. Conversely, on the day of the appointment, Bryan showed up

I hired Santillan Landscape Services for a brush clearing and chipping job in Shingle Springs. First they bid the job lower than others. Then they showed up and worked. And work they did! They exceeded my expectations. Brian and Nathan are hard workers who barely take a break. You pay for a days work, you get a days work. I'll have them back. Thanks guys.

This company says they have employees and they actually have independent contractors. And they have NO workers compensation insurance meaning you the homeowner can be left liable for a worker injured while working on your property. I learned this while asking for their insurance from Bryan and Brittany. They can’t produce any insurance for workers so I went with another company. They also cannot write contracts properly as they told me one thing while at my home and then sent me a totally different contract.

Excellent work!! Hired Bryan and his team to weed eat approximately 3 of our 5 acres. Correspondence with Brittany was prompt and informative. Employees were courteous and professional! Money well spent! Will definitely hire again next spring!

Bryan is a consummate professional and will get the job done regardless of complexities that may reveal themselves during the process. He is my go-to contact for any major yard and property work needed.

We have 10 tree filled acres here in Somerset. This year was particularly devastating to our property due to the heavy snowfall over the Winter. We lost many, many trees - some snapped in half, some came right out of the ground by the roots. The snow was so heavy, and the drought over the last few years made the trees especially vulnerable. The downed trees and branches were everywhere! It looked like a tornado blew through here.

SCAMMERS! DO NOT HIRE!! Contacted these guys from a recommendation on a community website. Did NOT go well. The guy that showed up was nice enough, but the job (hauling away landscape debris) took days longer than it should of, I was overcharged, and they ended up filling up all my trash and recycling bins instead of taking it to the landfill like they were (over)paid to do. Additionally, it ends up that the "satisfied customer" that posted the recommendation was the owners sister-in-law.

Honest, hardworking, showed up when they said they would. Have used them a few times now and had great experiences both times. Highly recommend.

I have been using Santillan Landscape Services regularly for just under a year. Everything from clearing away brush, hauling junk, trimming trees, planting trees, installing sod, a huge paver job, building a fire pit and regular maintenance of keeping the leaves and pine needles under control and not a fire hazard. They are professional, reasonable in price, and extremely responsive. I highly recommend their services.

I hired this company approx six months ago. It's a husband and wife team. At first I thought they were both very nice. But after Bryan would show up at my house not scheduled to work, I began asking for a more specific approx time each month they may be arriving, just a heads up a day or two before. After that request, Brittney his wife began having an attitude towards me. I get we're all busy and I'm ok with service coming on their own schedule but because I have a gated locked yard I needed to allow them access. Sadly the attitude continued, I have a hard time giving money

Hard working guys. Showed up when they said they would and did the work agreed upon. I’ve learned that you get what you pay for. To the reviewer who said they are overpaid: cheaper is not always better.If you want someone reliable and honest, these are your guys.
