Firewood piles are a great source of food for termites. You won't care if they munch on it at the back of your property, but you will care if it's right next to your house and they discover your siding or your framing. If you really need your firewood next to the house, lay down masonry block with planks across, and pile the firewood on that.

We love Tehachapi Pest Control. With our first home, we tried to use othet companies but they would do a crappy job and over charge. TPC is thorough and transparent. When another company tried to tell us we had termites, Jose came on over and found the beetles that were causing demise in our kitchen. Now with our second home, I wouldn't use anyone else.

Gave us one price on the phone then changed it after they got here... actually didn't even tell us the new higher price until the job was done. Poor business practice and we'll never use them again which is unfortunate since they did a decent job last year. Hope it was worth the extra $ you charged... Two thumbs down. :(

Tehachapi Pest Control provided outstanding service. They did some remediation during the purchase of our home which was excellent so I called them when I needed a wasp nest removed in a hay barn where chemicals couldn't be used. They responded promptly and took care of the problem in a professional manner. I recommend them highly.

Not only have I found TPC to be much more effective than other exterminators in this area in mitigating or eliminating pest issues (i.e. ants, springtails, ants, spiders, and did I mention ANTS?!), but Ashlee has been a delight to work with. She's super customer-friendly, professional, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable about the industry.
9/3/17: several months later - not an ant in site inside the house. Good job!! Also, thank you for the advice for self-handing bug issues in my garden - they were gone in 24 hours.

We very recently had Tehachapi Pest Control do termite damage repair and interior and exterior pest control spraying for our home and garage. They did an excellent job from beginning to end! Excellent customer service was provided by each employee and the owner. All their services were clearly explained and all jobs were done very well. They return your call in a timely manner and go above and beyond when providing the service. We truly appreciate this company and their employees and highly recommend them!

Had a home inspection with this company and have had nothing but trouble with this company from the start. First we were told we had termites then a second time after they refused to come out in the winter we now dont have termites. Then i call my agent mind you ive been in my new home 6 month thats all. She gets things going with them and it's a total different story. Oh we coulda come out in winter but the owner doesn't like to is the new story I'm hearing. It's all a mess they make appointments they don't keep. 3 different times. Was told didn't have a ladder, then

Highly uncooperative and willing to admit they may not have a good job at the rodent control they have been "doing for years" at a property we just purchased.
