Any reviews you read about David James and Company that praise his work you need to contact me. I have pictures, excuses, and time frame it took to build our home on figure eight island. We had so many issue with this guy there is no way to post all of them. Hopefully we have everything corrected after getting an attorney involved. David James is building our house on Figure Eight. He is extremely responsive to our calls. The caliber of his work far exceeded our expectations. He is professional , very creative and pays meticulous attention to details of construction. Our house is exactly on the time line he gave us. David James is a well respected builder on Figure Eight. His reputation is impeccable.

I am updating my review to state that this house is still not finished. Figure 8 HOA is aware of this issue, and have had complaints from other homeowners who have used David James. He may be banned from ever building again on Figure 8. Save yourself the headache and use another builder. Poor work ethic. He will take your money and not give you a finished product.

David and his team have been building our dream house on the water. David has a solid, qualified group of subcontractors that he draws from. We have been very happy with all of his subs from the framers to the cabinet providers to the painters to the finish carpenters. When it comes down to it, the quality and integrity of the subcontractors is what matters most and David has been building these relationships for years. We have had the pleasure of working along side David and his team and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.
