Penro Construction specializes in the construction of municipal infrastructure. Penro installs utility mains such as water, sewer, and storm sewer. Along with the construction of the mains, Penro also builds structures and plants associated with the pipelines, including lift stations, booster stations, well houses, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and lagoons.

He started out as a laborer and eventually moved to an equipment operator, a project superintendent and in April of 1996, he became part owner along with his father, Bud Kinning. Mark bought in again in November of 1998 and has been involved in the management of the business ever since. Ryan started working summers for Penro in 1996 and joined Penro full time in 1998.
The South Highway 81 Sanitary Sewer and Lift Station project included 13,250' of 10 sanitary sewer, 2100' of sanitary sewer services, sewer lift station, 4000' of sewer force main, and 7300 SY of paving to provide sanitary sewer service to the businesses and homes along Highway 81 south of the Elkhorn River in Norfolk, NE.
Penro Construction Company is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators and skilled Construction Laborers to join our Utility Construction team. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license, ability to lift 40 pounds consecutively, and construction experience is preferred, but we will train.
