Wet, slippery floors are the #1 hazard when dealing with a water loss. If you're going to be in among the wet areas, make sure you are wearing shoes with a slip-resistant sole. And also make sure to pay special attention to tripping hazards. One of the other major accidents that could happen comes when you mix water and electricity.

The main rooms I think turned out ok. When the tech went to clean our high traffic stairs due to main living space upstairs, he asked if I had a hose so he could get more water he was low. I told him yes just inside the garage. But instead of getting water it looks like he just quickly skimmed over the steps. The tech was nice, he just didn't seem to get the the job done.
Update: I did get a nice call and they are coming back to clean the steps.

I had Mr carpet come and clean my carpets before I sold my house I thought I was going to have to replace all the carpets they were so bad but he came in and cleaned them and made them look like new saved me money he's a little pricey but he's good. If you want it done right the first time I'd hire Mr Carpet. I've used other carpet cleaners in the past and I've never been satisfied either there were still stains or the carpet was soaking wet and didn't smell good but with Mr carpet it was excellent.

Mr. Carpet is incredible! We had water damage to solid hardwood floors in our kitchen thanks to a faulty water filtration system. Brad came out and hooked up machines that removed so much of the residual water underneath the flooring that the boards re-leveled and the staining at the joints was gone!
I was a bit skeptical at first, but I am sold now. Mr. Carpet is THE business to call for any kind of flooring rescue/restoration/clean-up.
