Shanks Custom Hardwood helped me replace deck screws and sand my deck. They did such a meticulous job! You can tell he takes pride in doing a great job and went the extra mile to make sure it was done right. When he was finished, he did such a beautiful job on it that I seriously considered just staining the deck instead of painting it again! We have a 100 year old 650 square foot maple floor in our daylight basement that had water damage around the edges. John was able to repair the damage and minimize the amount of wood that needed to be replaced. He did a great job of matching the wood and then sanding the entire floor and matching the stain so that it all looked brand new. He works hard, does what he says he's going to do, and adds a lot of value. I would not hesitate to use him again and recommend him to others.

Shank’s installed all new flooring in our main floor and stairs and it turned out wonderful! Jon helped us pick out a flooring that was durable and in our budget.
