Wow! What wonderful work and attention to detail. Our wood floors, now refinished by Chris, look FAB u lous. And the clean up mess was minimal. Could not recommend him more highly. He was very pleasant to work with, a good communicator, a VERY hard worker, on time and KNOWS wood. He will improve any floor he agrees to redo and leave it shiny and beautiful. I was so glad to have chosen him to redo our floors!

Chris refinished the floors on my house about 4 years ago. He recommended a product Rubio Monocoat. The heart of pine floors admittedly were in poor shape and it took him longer than expected, he asked for more money than his bid, it seemed reasonable, so I paid him more.
When he finished the floor it looked good. However, almost immediately The wood on the board edges has SPLINTERED in a number of places. I should note that the floors get extremely LIGHT WEAR, I live alone and no one comes in the house with shoes on. This problem has gotten increasingly worse over time.

Wow, could not be more happy with deciding to hire Chris to refinish my floors. As you can see, they were unsightly, and are now shining bright! This was 90 year old heart pine that had suffered from neglect, and he did a great job for a very reasonable price and on a tight time frame.I plan to hire him again to do the rest of the house as soon as his schedule allows!

We had some down time after closing on our house waiting for movers to arrive from out of state. The floor finish on our newly purchased house was not that great, not being familiar with Asheville floor finishers we looked on the internet and found Chris. With all those 5 star reviews we thought he would be too busy to accommodate us which he almost was. We were very lucky that he was finishing a job and could push back his next job after some pleading with him. I’m having to update Pop’s 1970 home, and had some very discouraging stains on the otherwise very good hardwood floors.
Chris replied and gave an estimate promptly, and then started the work quickly, based on his current work schedule.
The floors look remarkable and I couldn’t be more pleased, especially considering how little care they had received over the past nearly 50 years.

We had multiple issues with the wood floors in our Asheville home including some water damaged boards as well as 2 areas that required the removal of ceramic tile and replaced with oak to match the surrounding flooring. Chris exceeded our expectation in every way. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and his time estimate was almost on the money. The results were spectacular. When it comes time to finish additional floors in the house, we won't hesitate for a minute to contact Chris.

Let's just start out by saying that Chris is a fantastic guy to meet. He is kind and authentic. We reached out to Chris and he found a way to get our job done on a very tight schedule.
As for the work, we could not be more happy with the finished product. From start to finish Chris talked us through what he saw, what he intended to do and how he would do it. Our oak wood floors were showing their age after 21 years, so we recruited Chris o refinish our floors after seeing positive reviews. The reviews are all correct!
First, Chris is very professional in every way. He answers email and calls and is willing to work with the owner to get the results necessary.
Chris is also dedicated to his craft. Only after seeing his final product did I realize the original floors had sanding marks and other imperfections. The refinished floor is absolutely flat with no marks anywhere. It is incredibly beautiful and reflects Chris' dedication to perfection.

Chris just completed a refinishing job on my oak floors. He was amazingly meticulous and went beyond what I expected in removing plates under the refrigerator & stove, all doors, and taking his time to make sure each step was perfect.
