Used to think very highly of Richardson Mechanical. I have used them 4 times since 2013 and have always been impressed with their timely service and reasonable charges for services rendered. However, things have certainly changed. I called them on aThursday 11/19/15 and scheduled an appointment with Lance (never have dealt with him in the past) to service my furnace the following day. I have had a commercial contract with Richardson Mechanical for a few years for many units. They do quality work, have comparable prices with other companies, and are very responsive. The best thing about them is that they know how to do repairs and don't always lead you straight to replacing equipment. I can't think of a single incident in the past few years that would let me give anything less than 5 stars.

I had used Richardson A/C last year to troubleshoot a cooling problem at home. I was unimpressed with the explanation the technician gave me, and was left with the feeling that he didn't care too much about the work he was doing. Also, he performed "services" without asking me first, handing me a bill at the end that I wasn't expecting.
