Locally owned and operated, Pompano Beach-based AA Advance Air is a recognized leader in new commercial and residential construction, renovations, retrofits, controls, service and planned maintenance. Known for comfort, value and dependability, the award-winning company was founded by Robert Burrow in 1976 and now led by 30-year contracting veteran Doug Cady.
Recently, the company partnered with ACE plantation high school's mentoring program. Students were taught some mechanical fundamentals at the school's chiller room and some hands on training at our sheet metal shop. In 2009 and 2010 we have also been a part of the Boys and Girls Generals Club, among other charitable contributions.
Heat is transferred from the inside of the building to the outside. The warm air is blown, with a fan, over the refrigerant lines coils, in the air handler. The refrigerant absorbs the heat. It passes through copper tubing to the outside condensing unit where a fan blows outside air over the hot coil.
Our residential technicians are trained to be able to spot problems quickly and effectively. They are up to date with the latest technology and tools to do the job right. If an AC unit has to be replaced we can provide you with a new reliable air conditioning system. Technology in air conditioners has not only increased their life expectancy but also their level of efficiency.
From our Pompano Beach office we service Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Our technicians live throughout the area and whenever possible work in the territory closest to their homes. In this way they become familiar with the equipment in their area and response time is reduced. Our service and maintenance department consists of sixteen vehicles total.

Bought a Carrier unit 2 years ago from them for around $5000.00, the first year we had the unit it went out during the July 4th weekend they said it was under warrenty and we would have to pay for labor After 4 days without air, the part came in, But that was not the problem, so they repaired the problem around $800.00 for labor, (WENT WITHOUT AC FOR 4 DAYS) Going into 2 year now we need an expansion valve (ANOTHER 4 DAYS WITHOUT AC) 3 techs came to our house all 3 said Carrier is having problem with there units. Now we have yo pay again for labor, which the tech was here from 8:15 to 11:15 and
