Whether you want to install your new flooring yourself or have someone to do it for you, The Floor Trader is here to help! At The Floor Trader, we give you the control and confidence to hire your own Installation Contractor or one that is on our Preferred Installer list. We believe that you should have an opportunity to select a professional Installation Contractor that you feel comfortable will perform to your satisfaction.
Before installing your hardwood floor it is important to remember that wood comes from nature and, like the rest of nature, is not perfect and you should not expect it to be. However, there are industry standards which permit grading deficiencies exceeding 5% and the wood flooring you buy at our stores all adhere to those standards.
Arming yourself with the latest knowledge of flooring care, and passing that knowledge on to your clients will bring added value to your their investment. Many types of cleaners are available, including dry cleaners, spray-on foam cleaners and wet shampoo. Make sure you choose a cleaner specifically made for carpets.

We had a great experience with The Floor Trader Outlet. Caulin Remington was a true professional and guided us in the right direction as to what we were looking for and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Also Brian Davis and Associates were the installers and completed the 1800 sq. ft. install in 2 days instead of 3 that were scheduled and did a fabulous job. Such a great experience end-to-end! Caulin was immensely knowledgeable, responsive, supportive, flexible and provided effective guidance as we sought to replace the basement floor in our new home, all while being in a different state. We had to pivot our floor selection once we discovered water was underneath the old carpet, and Caulin calmly and quickly helped us identify a new solution. The installation team was kind, on time, and did an awesome job.
