Gunite as herein specified is a trade name used to designate a mixture of Portland cement and sand thoroughly mixed dry, passed through a cement gun and conveyed by air through a flexible tube, hydrated at a nozzle at the end of such flexible tube and deposited by air pressure in its place of final repose.

Here at Texan Gunite we use the best equipment available in our industry to achieve a superior product. Even more important than the equipment are our quality craftsmen and finishers that bring their years of experience to every job we do. Here at Texan Gunite we exclusively use VM-14 volumetric mixers from Strong Industries in Houston, Texas.
Here at Texan Gunite, we take check and or cash ( we prefer bank issued checks but do know that we report all hot checks to the Travis County Hot Check Divison and or the county the check came from) and are in the process of accepting credit cards in the near future (there will be a credit card price per yard that is different than cash or check price).
When scheduling a gunite job with us, we do the best we can to accommodate all the pool builders and contractors we work with (which is at any given time more than 45), and sometimes due to the high demand of the season and weather and other variables, we as well as the other couple of Gunite companies in Central Texas fall behind due to the amount of work ratio to the amount of available groups to do it.
