Horrendous.
Booked them a month out for their services. Got the name of the individual who set up our reservation at the time. Never had a follow-up call or email to confirm as the date got closer so I got a little nervous. When I called two days prior, they said they never had us booked. This was like something out of a movie.
Scrambled to find a last minute moving company which thankfully I found.
Do not ever use this company...ever!

Moving to Pennsylvania to Utah we had Hughes store our belongings until we determined a delivery location. We began this move in mid-April.
End of May, we requested our belongings be delivered. They then notified us of an 8 week delay due to driver and truck shortages. Following that timeline, we paid the remainder of our bid per contract, so that Hughes would pick up our stuff from storage and begin the delivery process to us. When we called to confirm the pick up, Hughes stated they didn't even have a truck or driver assigned to our move! If there is a labor and truck shortage, do not acquire

06/28/2021. I will recommend anyone who is currently considering using them, NOT too. They pickup my stuff 17 days ago in Indiana. They were suppose to delivered them by Last Monday. Today, I don't know when it will be delivered. I used them in the past with great results, but not now. They claim that due to COVID they don't have drivers.

From my first phone call to get an estimate of my move to the final phone call after my move was finished, I was treated in a very friendly and courteous manner. The staff was wonderful and my coordinator went above and beyond what you would expect. The estimate was completed quickly. I was able to make changes as to what I would or would not take up until 5 days before the move. I packed most items but left the kitchen and artwork for the packers to do. They arrived at the time I was told and did a great job. They protected my floors while working and packed everything very carefully. The

A nightmare!
I've never used a worse company for anything. They packed and moved my things. So much was destroyed because of their incompetence including my kitchen chairs, a fire pit, and an oil painting that was priceless to me! They didn't use the right type of paper to wrap the oil painting - they just used regular craft paper. The art restorer I went to thought they were shameful to use that paper. He couldn't restore the painting. It was a total lose.
The worst part about this experience was dealing with their insurance agent. He told me to save everything that was destroyed

Were very shoddy on their inventory (ergo once the salesman came, no more attention was given to the items). Then packers/movers themselves were decent, but not very detail oriented as they lost a LOT of our stuff. Now they are claiming "everything shipped, was delivered", which doesn't help us any because obviously the items got lost in packing or loading, before shipping. DO NOT TRUST THEY WILL HELP YOU WITH A CLAIM! And United obviously doesn't care about what happens at the packing or loading/unloading phase, they just care about the truck. And Hughes falls back to United

Hughes Relocation Services was a complete pleasure to deal with from the the day that Brian came to my home to give me an estimate through the packing up and delivery of my items. Angel and his guys did a great job on both ends. The packing/loading in PA was quick and efficient and the delivery in CA was right on time with all of my items in perfect shape. I would highly recommend Hughes to anyone needing a mover.

We needed to move a shipment of goods from Pennsylvania to California, following a death in the family. It was a difficult time & we had a short but ideal window of time to organize logistics - deal with the estate, pack up stuff, ship it, and receive delivery. It was the busy holiday season, stormy weather, a coast- to- coast move, and there was every opportunity for stumbles and delays. But under Hughes, problems never materialized.

I chose Hughes because of the reviews they received. Bad move (pun intended). They picked up my things from my home in Narberth, PA on July 30th. I was given a range of August 6th through August 13th for things to arrive in Santa Cruz, California. I wanted to drive cross country because it is so expensive to ship a car (much less two cars) but I didn't have time since I needed to be there on the 6th just in case the stuff arrived. Didn't arrive on the 6th. Or 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th. On the 10th I got a call saying that they "might" not make my window. I assumed that
