For any moves within the State of Louisiana, make sure they give you their Louisiana Public Service Commission number (Our is LPSC# 7491). For any moves outside of the State of Louisiana, make sure they give you their US DOT number. All moving companies are required to carry cargo insurance. Please be aware that this is different than furniture liability!

Easy to pack and can be dropped off before your move to allow the proper time to pack. Once you are moved in and unpacked, we can schedule a pick up at your convenience.

Joseph, Johnny and Eric showed up on time and with positive attitudes! They took a tremendous amount of care with our furniture, wrapping it with blankets and strapping it off inside the truck. These guys are super stars………..I’d hire them again in a heartbeat!

We hired Acadiana Movers to move our household goods to our new home because they had good reviews. After my experience I don't understand how they had such decent ratings.
The team they sent were extremely slow and I could tell they were milking the time. My wife and I had moved what they moved PLUS my storage in 2 hours. Their team had yet to unload half the items and I'm going on 4 HOURS!!!
Told them to recall their movers and my wife and I would move my storage ourselves.
Waste of money!

After 7 months of living in a camper after Hurricane Laura, my husband and I were finally able to move back into our home in Iowa, LA. We chose Acadiana Movers for two reasons. Their pricing was by far the best and I called them all.... and they were the only ones who recommended sending us 4 movers that day to empty out 2 units which were on… different floors in Lafayette. By doing this would get our storage units emptied quicker and cut down on our costs. These guys were amazing. Went over and beyond and handled our personal belongings, especially the antiques we had, with kids gloves

I moved 2/13/21... the two men moving me were very nice but I do not feel they were experienced at all. I… actually used this company because of the reviews! They showed up on time... friendly... I explained how hard it was to move my brand new sofa in, and they mentioned they’d use moving blankets to get it out. All they did was cover it with clear wrap. My brand new sofa was damaged. I also made it clear my bed was made out of teak wood and it could damaged easily. When moving into my destination, the truck took down a pretty big branch that is now laying in my front yard. Instead

We used Acadiana Movers to store my Parents belongings (after the last one had passed). They were prompt, professional, and courteous ...And what we were paying for a storage unit and "Uncle Bob's" per month, compared to what we are paying Acadiana Movers...is like NIGHT and DAY!
