Known originally as Cascade Vinyl Systems, the Kaskis provided vinyl materials and installation to the Portland area.
In 2002 Brian Kaski bought out his partners and became the sole owner of the company. In order to meet changing customer needs, Cascade began offering wood fence and deck options. After many years of serving the commercial and new construction markets, Cascade's leadership team made the bold decision to focus the service experience entirely on homeowners.

Which fencing material is best for you? One of the most common questions we get about fencing is, which material is better, cedar or vinyl? A lot of people know what they want. Either they love the look of cedar, or they prefer the streamlined visual appeal of vinyl. If you have a composite deck installed, you have probably noticed how low maintenance it is.
We'll review your notes and give you a call within 24 hours to schedule your on-site meeting. We use this to determine details like travel time, permit requirements and lot dimensions. I’d definitely recommend Cascade. They installed a patio cover for us and were timely despite most of our home improvement projects being scheduled months out. There were some design changes required, but they communicated them well and consulted us on the way forward. The crew was courteous and clean, and the final product looked great!

Outstanding performance from start to finish. The estimate was accurate, thorough and well-presented. The scheduler contacted me prior to the scheduled date to reconfirm everything and the crew who did the work were on-time and did excellent work. Everything was cleaned up after they were through. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Cascade Fence and Deck does excellent work. Our project was recently completed and looks great. We are very happy with it.
From the point of inquiry/scoping with Carrie and Trevor to the actual delivery of the project, things were done very professionally. In particular, Tyler and the other gentleman who built our fence were terrific, both approached the project with a can-do attitude, communicated well, and made small adjustments when required, including figuring out a creative solution to an issue we had with the height of the gate.

I’ve dealt with a lot of contractors in my day, but the people at Cascade Fence are the best. From the start, they were very professional. They gave me a detailed quote for the work. They were on time with their promised delivery date, they stayed in contact with me when the supples were going to be delivered. I never had to call them to find out what was going on, they always kept me in the loop
The installers were excellent. Tyler and Jordan were the best. They were always in good spirits and answered all my questions in a courteous manner.

Cascade Fence and Deck installed a multi level composite deck for us roughly 3 years ago. We have been using our deck a lot these past year and a half due to Covid - spending a lot of our time at home. To make our home a “staycation”, we have re-furnished our backyard. Our favorite is our covered deck. Cascade installed an under deck water proofing and it’s now one of our favorite spots in our backyard. They did a wonderful job!! Working with Cascade was a very positive experience from start to finish and I would definitely hire them again. I especially liked the thorough quote which had three design/pricing options and had a video too. They built a custom gate for us that could not be more beautiful and we love it so much. Communication was great throughout the process and the crew was awesome.
