Pete's Moving Services was amazing! From being really flexible with a change on the move date, to the excellent communication, my move of 100 miles was great! Fluffy and Johnny took excellent care with my belongings and I never felt worried. They were super speedy too!! They moved me from San Mateo to Modesto in just about 4 hours, and that's with the drive and flights of stairs on both ends. I'll definitely be using this company for future moves. And did I mention how affordable they are?? Crazy good deal!

We had a wonderful experience with Pete's Moving Services. We got into a bind when our closing date changed due to circumstances out of our control. We had to reschedule our original movers and they were unable to accommodate our new move date. I called Pete and he made his crew available to us on the day we needed. His prices were reasonable and the crew was fantastic. We have some really heavy pieces that they handles without issue. There was no damage to any of our things and they stayed to reassemble everything at the new house until they were done. Would hire them again without question.

I contacted Pete’s services last minute and they scheduled me for the following day the guys who showed up were very nice and professional they moved us out and helped unload everything in the new place they even offered to help assemble my sons bed. Scheduled a move. I was very clear that our storage closes at 5pm. They said no problem and booked a move showing up at 12-1pm
They called me day of to move back my appointment by 1hr. I said that was fine, and reminded them of my storage closing time.
At 1:48 they said they were on their way. By 2:30 they still weren't here. With a 5pm close time on the storage that is 20 min away, there was no time left to get the job done. I took the day off work and drove out from the Bay Area to deal with this and they just completely failed to get it done. I will not be rescheduling.

I'd recommend Pete's to anyone in need of a professional moving company. My experience was wonderful. Meg was fantastic. She found a spot for me on their schedule when I had called just a couple days before my moving day. The movers Santos and Giovanni are hard workers and very skilled. They are also very kind and considerate, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. It was a very smooth process from scheduling to payment. Great communication and customer service. I'd definitely go thru them again for future moves!

We are still missing all the hardware to put the beds together. I have no idea where David put them. We have other peoples stuff and we are missing stuff. We are not happy with this whole experience. This is the worst movers experience ever. This is super unfortunate and I will be taking down my awesome review I did for you. We have so much stuff messed up. On moving day, the 3 man crew was so efficient. They wrapped all wood furniture and packed the truck with great care and strategic planning. They were so polite and helpful. When the job was done the bill was half the amount of the other moving companies I had contacted.

Everything was awful! Do not and I repeat do not believe the reviews. So much was missing and there were supposed to be 3 movers but only 2 showed up and the "supervisor" just constantly complained about how lucky I was that I paid a $2500 flat rate. All of my clothes were hung up in wardrobes only to be thrown in boxes. My brand new 70 inch tv
was destroyed and yes I have pictures of everything. Dishes, glasses, expensive vases and so much other broken glassware. Do not use this service. Half of my clothes are missing all of my Knick knacks and family pictures which I don't understand

We needed our elliptical moved from my husband's mom house to our new place. Pete's Moving was the only company that would move our elliptical. Julius and Fred moved the heavy bottom half effortlessly! They put the machine and its pieces in the appropriate place. We are so thankful and happy to now have our elliptical in our home. Cannot rate less than zero. Meg was great. However, they knew we had dogs & cats and had acquired additional pets belonging to a family member who was recently placed in a care home. They knew we had lost 3 days in preparation to move due to multiple unexpected emergencies. As such, we only wanted movers to move furniture, totes, and boxes in the hallway, bedrooms, and kitchen. We told the movers they DID NOT need to worry about the boxes in that room, as they had been there for 1-year due to a remodel, I needed to clean around them, and some needed to be repacked/taped, etc. There was one

We booked with Pete's about a week out from our move for an unloading service. They followed up with us to confirm the day before and kept in touch the day of to keep us in the loop as far as an arrival time. We were told they would try for ten but probably would be more like 12 realistically.
The movers were held up on a job and got here about 2 o'clock and began at 215. We had a 26ft truck halfway full to unload.

We had a short move from Ceres to Manteca, and I contacted Pete's via their website for a quote. I got a call from them in less than 10min! The quote wasn't cheap, but it was very fair considering the extremely heavy, bulky, and valuable antique furniture being moved. They were able to accommodate our moving date, and actually offered next day service if we wished.

Awesome Service!!!!!!! I had a move that required two separate moves. I had sold my house too quickly and had to move into our in-laws until our new house had closed.
