The goal of this project was to design a 223,000 square foot training facility as part of the 12 acre United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America's (U.B.C.) International Training Center campus in Las Vegas, NV.
The facility houses classrooms, ballrooms, dining facilities, and a grand lobby that exhibits historic artifacts and carpenters tools. The facility also includes an 82,000 sqft shop space for classes, training, and demonstrations.

The story of Carlile Coatsworth Architects begins in the late 70's when Jeff Carlile and Cal Coatsworth met in architecture classes at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Their shared passion in architectural design led them to start their own architecture firm a decade later where their concept to creation approach led them to larger and more significant projects.
Since our inception in 1989, CCa has been the Architect for countless Industrial projects, encompassing millions of square feet. We have designed buildings that meet our clients' needs for warehouse/ distribution, logistics, fulfillment and manufacturing facilities and have worked for some of the nation's most recognizable developers, users and contractors.
Each dealership has its own individual needs, priorities and identity. From showrooms to service and parts, we design welcoming facilities that create ambiance, functionality and meet the goals of the individual client. Our expertise lies in acknowledging the specific design guidelines required by every manufacturer and orchestrating that with the specific needs and realities of the dealer operating the facility on a day to day basis.

Creating both interactive and entertaining architecture, we have experience in the arenas of sports and leisure, children's merchandise, fashion and footwear, home furnishings and specialty retail. We bring fresh vision and artistry to a variety of environments through the design of new stores, remodels, and conversions.
