Services
Vision without action is a wasted dream. Without effort, no dream or desire is going to get fulfilled. We want you to bring us your ideas, your desires, your hopes. Let us examine the inherent possibilities in those ideas and find a way to create what was once abstract into something tangible. Our value to you, as the Professional Designer, is to use our wealth of experience to manifest that vision.
Emotive Architecture is a leading modern architecture firm in Washington D.C. Through decades of design expertise, we create architecture that's much more than a physical building-rather, it's about how a building communicates with all aspects of the built environment. By taking your vision, budget and requirements into account, we design beautiful buildings that are just as meaningful as they are useful.
DIALOGUE Communication is key to how we excel. The communication employed throughout our process allows for a seamless on-boarding of the client, consultants and builders to decisions we make on all projects. HUMAN Architecture is Human. In all that we do, there is an affinity to how it will be used and how different perspectives will interpret the design of decisions we make.
For any design firm, how they engage with the client is critical to the quality of the collaboration. We build a relationship with our clients by first recognizing that all parties want to execute to their maximum. We start by listening and onboarding our clients with clear communication of the responsibilities of all stakeholders.
Our work on behalf of our clients is a point of pride for our firm. We represent the Client to the team of professionals who, in turn, diligently collaborate for project success. We earn our clients' trust through careful attention to the details and concise follow up in all aspects of a project through to completion.

We worked with Emotive to renovate a 50s ranch house in NW DC. It was a large project as we gutted the entire house and entirely reimagined the interior space. Working with Emotive was very easy and collaborative and 2 years later we are still delighted with the results and looking forward to working with Emotive again to transform the exterior and backyard.

I hope there isn't a character limit here, because I don't think I will ever be able to fully sing Jason's praise. In December 2012, I purchased my first home - a row house that was in need of a complete gut renovation. Jason was recommended to me by a friend, and I am eternally grateful for her sage recommendation!

Skill and Workmanship: When the professionals at DCRA (including former architects) are asking for your architect's card because of how spot on his work is, you know you're working with a top-notch architect. When a zoning reviewer's call is overturned

Working with Jason of Emotive Architecture, renewed my faith in housing professionals. I had been burned by housing professionals over the years and was very cautious about who I worked with this time around. Luckily, Jason came into the picture early on. He immediately took ownership of the project and was truly invested in making my project a huge success. He was so meticulous and thorough with the permit drawings, that I was able to get a building permit through DCRA in one week, which is unheard of.

While the care he took with the drawings was outstanding, I think the most important aspect
